This was a horrific series to watch. We lost the fact that the hitting sucked against BAL because we beat them. Can't we just play the Twins every time in the playoffs?

An AROD homer here would make everything come full circle

I loathe the Yankess and their fans.

I interviewed for a player development job with the Tigers a few years ago but that was as far as it went. I was not fluent in Spanish. I would have officially converted from a Mets fan to a Tigers fan if I got that job. As it stands, the Tigz are my favorite AL team. I have to get another hat soon. Had one from 2005-2008 or so till it got too dirty.

    Ehh close enough

As of now, that looks like it.

Until everyone writes us off, we win the AL East again, and make the playoffs.

not sure if that makes sense. the Yankees dont win the WS every year. Do they have to win it every year to be the evil empire? If so they never were the evil empire. Besides, you knwo they will be right back in it next year, and i thi k thats what gets you met fans all upset, that the mets most likely won't be. But anyways, glad the Yankees could grant some people at least a bit of excitement in their miserable baseball lives by losing in the ALCS.

We don't quit on our teams as you did tonight. That's the difference. We have guts.

Sorry to twist you in a knot.

I'm my world they're the evil empire, just like the Pats are to Jet fans.

The Yankees are a polarizing team, don't expect everyone to bow down to them.

I'm not a Yankee Fan, just like I'm not a NY Giant football fan. They are mutually exclusive, most if not all, NY fans root for one team and not the other.

The Yankees are the the most successful Team in the history of American Sports. I respect their players, especially Jeter & Grandy. I have long hated the way the Yankees buy players to achieve their goal. I understand it's a free enterprise and they have right to spend huge amounts of money, it's just not something I like or respect.

I'm a Met fan and have been very critical of the front office and they way Wilpon has trashed the team. Just don't expect me to be happy the Yankees reached the ACLS.

It's amazing how many Yankee fans at TGG come on the Mets forum and trash their fans. I guess Yankee fan's skin is a little thin when things don't turn out well.

I do too. I'm a Knicks and Jets fan! Thank god the Yankees got me or my sports life would be miserable.
