Linemen are reading the QB's eyes.

Poorly skilled and incompetent quarterbacks make this error frequently, and therefore have their passes tipped more often than good quarterbacks. - edit- to add, my issue is that Mark does not look the defense off, he locks in and telegraphs his move-

    Just a fact of football.

You can complete the inference from here.

This just in, JJ Watt is a beast.

    Nick Scurfield ‏@NickScurfield
JJ Watt now has 6 passes defensed this season. 3 of them have resulted in INTs #TexansGameday

The o-line also has something to do with tipped passes.

Funny, Watts said he watches the QB's arm.

Probably not a good sign that the best thing you can say about Sanchez's game tonight is that at least his red zone interception was tipped.

Or maybe its time to give the opposing players some credit? There's absolutely nothing a QB can do if an O-Line guy does not knock the D-Lineman down or keep him grounded. That's all Connor Barwin on the play to knock down a pass to the sidelines......has nothing to do with Sanchez.

Brady had trouble getting passes through Pierre Paul....these are freakish athletes on the D-Line these days.

I have no problem if you want to Question Sanchez and his height since he is undersized and its difficult but it has nothing to do with the eyes.

Really? I guess Drew Brees is poorly skilled. He lead the NFL past 3 season in passes tip at the line.

I can't excuse Chez for this. I don't think he's been playing bad, but tipped balls are a big problem and can't fall on anyone but QB. Gotta clean that up.

I'd be curious to see Marks ranking of tipped passes vs other QB's

Googled it and can't find the stat

Though his completion percentage is scary

He's 6'0...but Sanchez has less than prototype height as well. Certainly factors in.

I like the way the blame has to be so one-sided. Either it's Sanchez's fault or it's cause J.J. Watt is a phenomenal player....... maybe it's a result of both? Or is that just crazy talk around these parts?

It's Watt you f*cking retards, not Watts. After watching him kick your ass you should know the spelling by now.

Also he throws way more than Sanchez

I wish I knew what percent of throws get tipped. Not just the raw number....

I am trying to see if this is an inherent long term problem with Mark. There doesn't seem to be a stat for it.

I'd like to combine total completion percentage, interceptions, and tipped pass percentage and see where he ranks....

The tipped ball do partially fall on Sanchez, but the O-line has to use their hands and engage the DLmen so they cant just do whatever they want.
