Tipped passes occurred because he STARED DOWN receivers Oldest trick in the book for BAD quarterbacks
Tebow is a bad QB. But he should be on the field with Sanchez, he'll change the way defense thinks. He needs to be used on screens, blocks, all kinds of stuff. Or they should run a trick play with Sanchez running a ground and pound up through the middle instead of Tebow
How does staring a receiver mean tipped passes? It means the O-Line is not knocking guys back and more than anything means its a great individual play. There's nothing Sanchez can do when Barwin times the jump right to stop a pass to the sidelines.
It was poorly thrown. You can keep making excuses for el shitbox but the fact is he is a problem on offense. I have watched him for four years. He has always been inaccurate, sulky, skittish and a pussy in general. The difference this season is there is no talent like Holmes or Braylon to make him look at least below average.
Who cares what he is as far as attitude goes? Most overrated critique personally. Eli can do his "woe is me" look all he wants but I still like what he brings as a QB. Same with Romo. Not everyone needs to go cursing at their O-Line like Tom Brady after every miscue. The catch could have been made....Cumberland is a tall athlete and many TEs make that grab considering they are considered to usually be the tallest target on the field. At worst that's a fault on both men, NOT just Sanchez if you want to say the target was a bit high.
He's not playing great but he isn't "Playing like shit"....just people get too impatient and expect the man to become Aaron Rodgers now and to throw for 300+ each game. People don't get it that having weapons means everything. GB has a sick 4 WR core of Jennings/Nelson/Jones/Driver, a solid TE in Finley and a back that is better than what we have in Benson. Yeah their O-Line is in shambles but these guys get separation and each have years of communication unlike what Sanchez has with all of his targets being relatively new and by all accounts....just not that talented. By no means am I saying he's going to be an all time great....but Tebow, heck hardly many QBs make this offense work with the personnel we have out on the field.
Maybe, maybe not -- but it would literally be impossible for him to be worse. Over the last four games, we've scored 3 offensive touchdowns and Sanchez has had a passer rating of 58.2 with a completion percentage of 43.9% and averaged 194 yards passing per game, while throwing 4 INTs and 3 TDs. Not possible to be worse than that.
LOL He's better than Gabbert. You must think that Gabbert's better than Newton with the way Newton's stunk so far this year.
I don't really know where to apply the blame . Is it Sanchez? Is it the receivers? Is it the Coaching staff ; passing when by god almighty we should be running it. I haven't been this mad in many many years.
I do not expect him to be top 5. I do expect him to be top 10 by year 4. He is playing as badly as the bottom 5 QBs in the league. The good QBs make their WRs better. Look at steve smith once he got cam. Look at Rivers surviving with shit weapons. He is playing like shit this season. From the completion percentage, to the missed throws to the accuracy problems. He just isnt good.
