THIS... i feel like a politician with this team. flipping from ultimate darksider to a wiff of possibility.
Can anyone provide me with a couple of logical reasons why i should sit up until 5 am watching this game get two hours sleep and then get up for work? Feel like i wanna do it but my faith in seeing a Jets upset has been greatly diminshed
The Jets will probably get smashed tonight but if they can get a score on special teams and cause a couple of turnovers they have a chance.
it actually makes me feel worse.... just makes our week 1 performance look even less relevant since every team in the league seems to drop 40+ on the bills.
I think the Jets will lose but I wouldnt be surprised if the Jets won. For the team to win they need to score on special teams and defense. If the Jets can play with a lead then Sanchez may have more confidence.
I think we are better than people think yes weve played 2 awful games but i think last week is kind of like when leonard went down and pats destroyed us next week. You lose a vital piece (revis is better but leanard was key in the way he called the defense) sometimes it takes more than a week to devise new scheme. I think the extra day could be vital and it should be a close game. Im thinking it will come down to sanchez protecting the ball
In order for the Jets to have a chance tonight the running game AND the run defense have to show up. The best we can hope for is that the Jets look like a team that is still playing like its playing for something. More quit won't bode well for the future...
This game feels like the lead up to a 1980's Mike Tyson fight, with everyone expecting the Jets to be the tomato can that gets killed by Tyson. Football games rarely play out to script like that, I'm expecting the Jets to keep it close even without Holmes and Revis.
To be honest, I can't. We have proven to have a poor run defense and now comes the leagues best rusher in A. Foster. We have lost Revis for the season and now here comes A. Johnson. The Texans are a defense on par with the 49'ers and we still have the same running game and line as last week. No, sadly my friend, I smell an ass whupping coming on tonight. The Jets are an "either or" on Monday Night Football. Either they are lights out or they get embarrassed. Typically there is no middle ground. No, I honestly do not feel they will be competitive tonight. I PRAY I'm wrong but feel that I'm right.
Are you ready for some PRIME TIME embarrassment? Not even Jesus could save this train wreck! ALL BOARD!!!!!
The NY Post and Daily News already have their post MNF anti-Jets headlines and articles written... all they need is photos now.
