Honestly people, this game isn't the end of the world. 2-3 doesn't mean we can't make the playoffs. The hardest part of our schedule will end on Monday. We made it out fine considering we had to go against Pittsburgh and San Fran and now Houston.

    Umm......trying to be hopeful here.

We figure out how to tackle! Jets win 10-7.

Out of the three the Pittsburgh game is the one that could ultimately sink playoff hopes...

I think it's that any delusion someone might have had that we were any good when we beat Buffalo has been eradicated. We look bad against bad teams (Miami) and beyond bad we aren't even competitive against good teams (49ers, Steelers) (soon to be added Texans, Pats, etc). Held scoreless for 7 consecutive quarters and counting.

    My optimism: 24-20 Jets.

    My pessimism: 31-9 Texans.

sanchez has a better qb rating against houston than against any other team in the nfl except oakland and kc. he knows he's playing for his job this week and in the past he has been able to pull himself out of slumps. i think the offense will play a respectable game.
but the defense needs to do more than figure out how to tackle. our linebackers need to become younger and faster, which is a long shot. interested to see how berry looks and if he'll get reps in wilson's place. if not, schaub will pick on wilson all night, foster and tate will run wild, and we'll be in for another long game, no matter what the offense does.
jets won't win, but there will be positives to take away. 34-21

^Except Sanchez hasn't faced Houston's D under Wade Phillips which I'm sure is different than Frank Bush's version.

A win would turn me from a doomsday darksider into a beleiver in Rex and this Jet team again. I'd be thrilled to be wrong.

    Jets lose 31-6.

Only way we have a shot is if we hold them to FG's and we run back every kickoff for a TD preventing the offense from touching the ball.

that's true. and jj watt is going to eat howard alive. and they have upgraded personnel in the secondary.
but sanchez has beaten the texans twice and not lost yet. he can't say that about many teams. it's just a possible reason for slight optimism.

    Cocaine is a helluva drug.

27-10, Houston. We'll get a special teams TD from McKnight.

Does anyone feel the slightest bit better after Buffalo got destroyed even worse than the Jets did against San Francisco yesterday? I mean maybe we don't have the worse team in the NFL, maybe we just plain suck which feels a little better right?

Conclusion: Start Tebow so at least we have an excuse for getting bitchslapped tonight.

This game actually is becoming huge for my fantasy team. Texans D gets over 10 and I lose. In my other league if Shaun Greene gets over 5 I lose. Gonna be close.

If being better than the shitty Bills makes you feel better I guess.
