That makes a little bit more sense. I haven't followed the Texans OL moves as much in the offseason other than Winston, but it makes sense that there's more to it than that. We as Jets fans should know that an offensive line that has one weak link can look a lot worse.
I think its silly to try to predict scores. All you need to know is the Jets are one of the worst teams in the league and the Texans are the best. My only hope is the Jets don't get humiliated again like last week. If you thought this board was bad this week, I can only imagine the bedlam that will ensue here next week. Every post will be in bold all caps.
=( Evan Silva @evansilva #Texans DE J.J. Watt's stats over his last 8 games: 40 tackles, 12 sacks, 17 QB hits, 16 tackles for loss, 9 batted passes, and a pick6.
Jets RapidReports @CBSJets With Santonio Holmes on IR and Stephen Hill likely out with a hamstring, look for WR Jeremy Kerley to play more on the outside. #Jets
Looked very good in the first game, as did the whole team. Since then has struggled with his hammy and has had some drops. He struggled getting off press after the first game and obviously his route running isnt great. He is what everyone thought he was. Raw. He'll take time to develop and probably shouldn't have been our #2... And he may be our #1 now, sadly. At least now he'll get a lot of reps with Holmes out. If he can mentally handle it and we use him the right way, hopefully he can develop faster.
FWIW: "... And in prime time. The Texans have never won away from home at night..." Reference: http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexans/2012/10/ben-tate-misses-practice-texans-prep-for-tim-tebow/ :jets:
What about when there's a full moon, it's less than 69 degrees, tebow is blowing a goat in the locker room and there are 3 wolves howling in the parking lot??? hate these type of stats
Oh great. Let's move the one WR doing something out of his natural position and force him to play something he's not well equipped to play.
How on earth could the Jets possibly prepare them selves for Monday night? Tebow did beat the Texans in a come back victory, it was like 17-0 at half time or something. Do you guys see Tebow getting some snaps?
I don't think Tebow will get more than 5-6 snaps at QB in the "Wildcat", Option or whatever people are calling it nowadays. Rex is reluctant to go to Tebow as he's giving Sanchez every last possible chance to keep his job. This is why I think Sanchez remains the starter and Tebow remains only getting 5-6 QB snaps a game until the team is down to either 2-5, 2-6 or 3-6, or until they suffer their 8th loss. Basically, it will take awhile until Tebow Time.
