You got the 2 year part right, its your only good prediction (against dozens that were wrong) as far as a worst pick...not so much Denver Broncos 7-24 (worst team in the NFL during that span) 1-4 to start 2011 3 things either changed or start clicking , defense starts playing better, special teams, denver scraps its conventional offense and inserts tebow. season turns around 8-5 playoff win. If you stay on your trajectory of 1-4 you end up with another abysmal season then Peyton Manning NEVER chooses Denver. So you needed Tebow (as much as your defense and special teams) to land your precious Manning. If for that alone Tebow is NOT one of the worst picks in Denver history. Not even close. You however are easily one of Denver's dumbest fans .....that is more clear cut.
I'm glad to learn the technique this board's moderators use in an attempt to keep this message board from becoming polluted with comments that are nothing more than ANTAGONISTIC thereby discouraging many people from participating. I applaude this board's moderators for doing a good job weeding out phycho Tebow fans and other hyper-antagonists. I know of several phycho Tebow fans that were here in these boards but were banned and now pollute the Jets' official message boards. HOWEVER, it is clear to me, with the exception of the Tebow phychos, their (moderators) diligence does NOT transfer to this Tebowmania forum, for reasons obvious to many of us Tim fans whom are primarily respectful and patient, 'facts and reason based' commenters. Based on the comments of many of this board's moderators and how our moderators ignore 'thread disrupting' Tim fan antagonists, I have become convinced that they (moderators) want Tim fans that frequent these boards, to be harrassed by the obvious Tim fan antagonists. Just sayin'.
OR... The "Pro Tebow" side is just as badly behaved as the "Anti-Tebow" side. For whatever reason, Tebow is a very contentious subject. If you have an opinion about him at all, it likely is close to one extreme or the other. There are no "moderates" when it comes to Timmy. That's why the mods confine it here - to avoid a mess all over the other subforums. They also cut EVERYONE a bit more slack in here, or else they'd wind up having to lock every last thread. I think that you are just tending to notice the anti-Tebow camp's bad behavior more because your natural, normal human bias reacts more strongly to that. Bad behavior on the pro-Tebow side isn't as apparent to you because it's someone who agrees with you. So you aren't compelled to react to it. The result is that it doesn't seem so bad.

Even though he thinks that I'm completely wrong about EVERYTHING and isn't shy about letting me know that. But he's never called me names or mocked my football acumen. His responses - both facts and personal opinions - have always stayed on the subject and never drifted into personal attacks.
Ummm... saying he showed up for the game winner with 5 minutes left IS giving him credit. Orton found new and creative ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in that scenario. But it ain't lost on me why they were always playing behind the 8-ball all the time. Being unproductive and leading the league in three and outs put us in those holes. Can't give Tebow credit and ignore the blame. As for the Patriots game... I blame the whole friggin team. the defense didn't stop them, but Tebow provided ZERO hope of doing anything in that game too. For some reason all of the blame from the Tebow fanatics goes to the defense even though the offense didn't do a damn thing out there either. Not a good idea to keep punting the ball back to Brady after 3 plays. If the defense isn't doing well, probably not a good idea to keep sending them out there after only a 2 minute break to do it again. Keep them off the field for awhile if you're not going to bother scoring points... Tebow doesn't get a free pass in that game. He was awful too.
Dennis, anyone reading these boards knows your sentiments. It is also true that anyone reading these boards knows that the Mods. let people of differing opinions duke it out, within reason, in all the forums. As usual, you and others like you try to put Tim fans into a box titled Idiots, and that is simply NOT the case. Many of us are simply fans of a football player that we like for whatever reason that happens to be on a team that we now want to win ALL of the time. Joining a message board of that team (Jets in this case), for discussing OUR team and OUR favorite player is the same reason everyone joining a message board like this one, joins it, with the exception of Tim fan hyper-antagonists, Tim fan psychos, and football fans with other favorite players and teams that come here to have fun trash talking, etc. It is also true that anyone reading the comments in these boards should realize that most of the 'Tim fan' commenters here are primarily respectful, patient, and 'facts and reason based' commenters, with maybe me being the lone exception because I have begun to 'zing' flagrant violators of what I view as reasonable message board decorum, however I still remain mostly respectful, patient, and 'facts and reason' based in my comments but freely admit zinging someone doesn't show much respect. Hit the nail on the head with that one. When this Tebow phenomina started, I was actually excited to see him during those first 3 games. I came away feeling not all that impressed, pointed it out, and the Tim Tebow cult came out and called me everything from a hater to an anti-christian bigot (even though I don't bring his religion into it.) You attack Tebow's game and abilities, the Tim Tebowkistani militia attacks YOU. Attack Tebow's abilities again, they attack YOU. Hell, after my first post, someone immediately suggested suffocating me with a pillow. ...If I were to guess, I bet Tebow himself would be embarrassed by those kinds of fans. That is exactly the kind of things I was talking about in my inagural post when dealing with people wasted on the Kool-aid of a 46% passer.

Yeah, you would have a point... but do you know why that argument is made? It's because everyone says the only reason they won is because the defense was bionic and feared throughout the NFL for their bone-smashing, gorilla strength sacking, super duper interception fumble machine production. Unless, of course, they lost. Then it was Tebow's fault.
