I was off that he started by one game calm down. Look at his stats for this year, it'll say that he's played all 4 games. He does fumble more, which is what you said he doesn't do? Am I right? Your trying to sound smart over here but your not replying to my question.
No, its not. Tebow had more fumbles per game than any other person in the league. He put the ball on the ground more than once per game. That is an abysmal statistic when you are know for your rushing abilities.
he fumbled quite a few, but several were botched snaps from working with a new center, that is why the number of fumbles is high, but the fumbles lost is a bit lower
Sanchez had those too, believe it or not. And for the Guy that said that its because Tebow had more rushing attempts, if you fumble while in the backfield it's still a fumble. Marks protection last year was shit. And like the other guy if your known for rushing you shouldn't be fumbling especially with a 250 lb body.
I'm not the one frantically and vulgarly disparaging others, you are. I said nothing about fumbles except for posting FACTUAL stats, with links. Damn man, maybe try get your act together.
Ain't gonna happen. Woody Johnson, in some sick demented way, probably loves this mess the Jets are in. I'm sure he'd rather have Tebow behind center as opposed to Sanchez, and a few more weeks of Sanchez playing the way he's been he just may get his wish. For Woody it ain't, " just win baby" , for him it's more like, " just sell PSL's baby".
Look NFL, we Tebowites have been dealing with flamers like you since this forum was made. We have patiently and FACTUALLY responded to more realistic arguments about the comparisons between Tim and other QBs, than yours, virtually every day. I don't know if any other Tebowites will spend much time dealing with your misconceptions and embellishments, but I'm not. Besides, they (Tebowites) usually know more about the nuts and bolts of football than I do, but what I do know is disparaging others because of differences of opinion is unnecessary and childish. If you are genuinely interested in Tim vs. 'all the QBs in history' comparisons, I suggest you spend some time reviewing the threads in this forum. My fellow Tebowites have done an exemplary job.
1)marks protection was head and shoulders better than Tebow Tebow had the 2nd worst O-line in the leage last year 2)bad exchanges are often the result of playing with a center to whom you are not accustomed, as Mark was the starter all offseason and the 2 years before that he shouldn't have the same troubles with the exchange that a guy starting his firt game under center without an offseason would have. 3) Fumbles lost are the only ones that affect the game in any signifigant way. Tebow lost 6, 4 in the pocket and 2 while running. Mark lost 8. they both lost fumbles at about the same rate per touch. Looking at fumbles instead of lost fumbles is like looking at dropped interceptions insted of interceptions.....want to compare interceptions?
Comments like these just prove - once again - that so many of the Tebow haters hate him most for reasons other than football.
I just realised that it wasn't you that I first replied to. But anyways, you are kinda trying to back him up so its still the same. First Guy I commented on said "put Tebow he'll fumble less than Sanchez" I called him an idiot cus he's obviously a Tebow-nut. Tebow did fumble more than Sanchez last year, in less games. That's what I started with and that's what I'll stick with.
The Guy I replied to said Tebow will fumble LESS! Not Tebow will be able to pick up his fumbles better than Mark! I replied to what he said I didn't change anything from what HE said. Last year I know for a fact Mangold misnapped at least one and I guess you've forgotten that Mangold was injured last year for I believe 2 games. You remember? The time that it was all over that we were struggeling at center. We tried like 2 different centers at that time and they both sucked.
Cutting Tebow solves nothing. Tebow is probably not making Mark Sanchez play worse. I highly doubt that Tebow is bringing the Jets play down. And Tebow fans aren't forcing Woody to do anything.
fair enough, there is no evidence to suggest he would fumble less, and no evidence to support that he would fumble more.
As I layed out in other comments in this thread, the reason I replied to your comment was to emphasize facts are available to evaluate your embellishments AND, and most important to me, to call you out for childishly disparaging one of your fellow Jets fans. Continue showing childish behaviors in your comments if you want. I don't care. BUT if you do it a forum I frequent, you can expect me to zing (pwn) you from time to time for doing it.
Call it whatever you want man. I'm putting out my opinion, there's nothing wrong with that. Your gonna tell me he's not an idiot saying that Tebow will fumble less? When stats show that he fumbles more?
I should have said there is no evidence to suggest that he will lose fumbles at a significant rate better or worse than Sanchez
You do realize that who lost more fumbles is fairly irrelevant. Luck plays an enormous part in whos hands a fumble winds up in. The more telling stat is how many times a player puts the ball on the ground. Just because the Broncos were lucky enough to fall on a half of Tebow's fumbles does not change the fact that Tim Tebow had the most fumbles per game of any player in the NFL last year. He averaged over a fumble per game. That is what you call 'not good'.
Idiot - A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/idiot NFL, the following quote is the comment of whom you called an idiot. First, I don't think the meaning of idiot applies to Frenbar. Observe, he can type and string together words to form sentences that express his OPINION. It seems you are factually wrong for using the word idiot and IMO, continue to exhibit behaviors most often synonymous with a child's behavior. Second, I could be wrong about the intent of your use of idiot, if your use of idiot was meant to imply Frenbar's intellectual weakness. You may have intended the 'offensive' use of the word. Regardless, your commenting behavior (calling people disparaging names) is still most often synonymous with a child's behavior.
