The temptation naturally is to come in here and mock this pick up with statements like "championship" or "how will Jonathan Joseph and Kareem Jackson sleep this week now?" but to be honest I just feel sorry for you guys. It's not a good sign when fans of a team that have never won anything (wait , one divisional title) in their history feel sorry for you.
I am surprised that we did not resign sanchez butt buddy scotty mcknight yet . The guy is a beast.. At 5'8 180 pounds and his elite 4.6 speed... For real though ... Stallworth should get a look. The guy can run... Just don't let him drive around the city in his expensive sports car ...... I would be afraid to walk to the store for a sandwich ..
Maybe they know more? It's very clear they don't know Jack. "They" are horrible talent evaluators. "They" are afraid to rid themselves of past bad picks "They" waste draft picks to trade up for marginal players that don't work out "They" were impressed with Vlad "They" thought this was a true ground and pound team "They" thought their group of receivers was an elite group in the league "They" never signed OL help or spent any top picks on OL when it was the biggest need. "They" are afraid to bench washed up players they brought over from Baltimore or players Rex wanted and signed even though they now deserve to ride the pine. "They" aren't tough enough to run a football team in the NFL "They" are worse then the fired Lingere league ref's that became replacement refs "They" need to go..
What pisses me off is how poorly this organization evaluates talent year after year. Look what Jerry Reese has provided for Eli --- EVERY one of their receivers is better than anyone we have (with the possible exception of Kerley) ... and so is the guy they let go --Manningham. AND ... so is EVERY running back on their roster! AND the guy they let go (Brandon Jacobs) would probably be starting for us. Jesus Christ, Tubbybaum!! ... How freakin' hard is it to find guys who can play?? If they were working at a bakery I bet you could find them!
Just plain stupidity. Why are we bothering with this scrub who has done absolutely nothing when we have young talent to evaluate on the roster? This season is going down the drains and Jason Hill is not going to save it. Let the young players PLAY. See what you have. You have 12 games to evaluate all of the young receivers, decide who you want to keep moving forward and what you need. Once again, a swing and miss.
Why the hell not? What do they have to lose? Play the young talent that hasn't played and see what you've got. Elevate White from the PS, yes. We're talking about the #5 WR here in a running (yet shitty) offense.
After the debacle this season is about to turn into there is no way Tannenbaum will be here when it's over. The great masses of Jets fans will demand it! Jason Hill over Plaxico Burress... You damned fool Mike Tannenbaum, you damned FOOL!
I don't know why not. Maybe it's just the Jets being complete retards and they don't understand that they need to develop young talent. They cut the guy last week so they obviously aren't very impressed with him and see him as a borderline PS guy to begin with. Maybe White was just not getting it and they preferred someone who kind of does with some live NFL snaps under his belt in case they actually needed to play him.
Will you stop saying that, you have no proof of that what so ever, you're just repeating something you heard someone else say who was also misinformed. This is a disaster. A complete disaster.
And let's not forget that Patrick Turner is a close friend of Sanchez's. Maybe it's Sanchez who can't evaluate WR talent. -McKnight and Turner??
Berry, Aaron CB $465,000 $0 $0 $0 $355,588 Hilliard, Lex FB $615,000 $0 $0 $0 $412,941 $0 $412,941 I haven't seen Hill's contract yet but you can bet it's not much more.. One more time now, all together - THE JETS ARE BROKE (from a cap standpoint)..all of these additions are making it just that must more impossible for next year. Burress would have cost them 925k (prorated just like these of course), he is a 10 year vet.
