Terrible signing. I prefer Patrick Turner honestly.

He's not going to be a starter so relax guys. He'll likely be the #4. He has experience and could help in multi-WR packages.

    Tannenbaum sucks, A LOT.

But show me a blue chip WR that doesn't have off the field or locker room issues, that's available? He can't work miracles.

    Unless he trades...

He's the backup plan if Schilens goes down.

The Jets offered Schilens a shot at the starting job when they signed him and this is it. They know he's injury prone and J Hill does basically the same thing.

Look...no one is entirely enthused about this signing.

But they needed some help, ANY help at WR.

The bigger issue at this point for me is the entire roster.

    No depth in key positions.

That's Tannenbaum and his personnel dept's issue.

I think at this point, we are looking at a four win season. For that, there has to be a MAJOR organization overhaul. It should start at the top and then work its way down.

    OR, it can start now...

    FIRE TANNENBAUM TODAY!!!

I'd honestly prefer Jordan White getting some reps. The season is gone so developing the young talent you have seems like a better idea than some retread warm body who's a longshot to even be on the team at the end of the year.

Who knows about this guy..maybe they know more about what he is capable than we do...at this point we need to find someone that has potential but has got lost in translation somewhere. Maybe this is that guy..maybe we will sign a couple of guys.

Let's develop our young players for the future because we might not win it all this year

Stallworth is still a free agent. Might be worth kicking the tires. But then everyone would complain the Jets can never find under the radar players and develop them so can't win.

A WR is a WR. I'd gladly take him.

I swear, football fans in general must be the most pessimistic people out there. There are far worse situations we can be in (0-4 Browns, 0-4 Saints, 2-2 Giants (no division wins), etc...)

Give it a break with the whole 'HIGH DRAFT PICK!!!' nonsense.

Yeah, I'm not sure which pro bowl receiver has been sitting on their couch until week five waiting for us to call them. We kinda have to pick from the pool of unemployed at this stage.

I don't know if this guy is any good or not, but he's available and cheap enough. Although Holmes was a decent player, he hasn't been setting any records this season, not huge shoes to fill.

Exactly. What does it get us? Nothing. I'd rather send Hill and Kerley out there and let them get some experience.
