Could have went into the half down 7-3, instead Sanchez coughs up the ball and its 10-0. I've said it in other threads, the game was winnable.
I agree that Jets fans would be stupid to throw in the towel at this point. If I were a Jets fan, I would not do that. There are 12 games to go, and nobody in the division has a winning record right now...
I agree, the defense was ok the offense let us down 10 points on turnovers, not a way to end the 1st half.
Sign me up. What's the worst that can happen? A Jets loss? That's so passe. I still believe until they're knocked out.
At no point in the entire first half did I or many people feel the Jets were going to come back once the game was even 7-0. San Francisco was waiting in the wings, slowly but surely making progress and the Jets continued to do absolutely nothing. A Nick Folk made FG from 43 yards is no gimme, either.
tommy my man - believe it or not i would be apt to agree with u IF we were at full stength - without the injuries to revis/holmes/keller..... but our depth is scary thin and the younger guys just have not shown enough at this level to give us a spark of a chance. i do think the effort will be there and we may even get a lead or 2 but eventually against a very good team, things will revert to the norm and it will get ugly. enjoy
well if you look how the season has gone so far, We won one,We lost one,We won one,We lost one, so if you go by that we are suppose to win this one. And on a better note the Texans have never beaten us but that was when Revis was covering Andre Johnson. I want to belive you I do but I just can't see it, they have too many weapons, JJ Watt has 36 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 4 games, Who is gonna stop him???There defense is ranked 1 overall, lol who on our offense is gonna move the chains????lmao at our offense against that Defense , it might be worse then the 49ers game we might have negative yards at the end of the game, But then again if you look at who the Texans have played this season so far besides the Bronco's they haven't beat anyone with anykind of real talent. If we had there schedule we might be 4-0 as well so who knows i guess
Sup JETS fans!! Looking forward to Monday night. Honestly, I am not sure what to think about this one. Yall have had a rough start with injuries thats for sure. But we do have concerns no one is really talking about due to our record. Losing Demeco Ryans has exposed our run D up the middle. And Losing the right side of our line (mainly RT Winston) has slowed our running game this year. Those are not two areas you want to regress in if you have the grandest of plans. If you can stack up well in these 2 areas you can make it a game. But if you get behind early and are forced to beat us in the air, the games probably going to get out of hand fairly quickly imo. Can't wait!! This is the most pumped I have been able to be for an NFL season since before the Bills/Oilers choke back in 92. That was the beginning of the end for the Oilers, and FINALLY after all of these years we have something to be proud of again, for now. Heres to a good healthy game come Monday night! I expect a pissed off Jets team out to save a season.
i thought the Oilers of the early 90's were actually one of if not the best team in the AFC, but just couldn't get it together in the post season. Must be nice for you to have a formidable team again now. The jets definitely do not want an air battle monday night, that's a fact. And i do agree that the Jets will play desperately, they really have no choice but to.
You're a fucking disgrace not only Jets fans but to humanity. To wish a player on your team gets seriously hurt so the backup could start is beyond sickening. If we're gonna play that game, go get Jerome Browned... Except with you.. NO ONE would give a FUCK.
The Boys are 9 point underdogs at home, and the over under has dropped down to 40. Some task ahead tonight for the jets, but it's in the mail, the shocker win of the season is coming, I am the all wise and ever knowing Nostra-Thomas, and my green tinted sunglasses are crazy glued to my head, and the Jets will win this one outright tonight. If I were betting, i'd take the 9 points, i love home teams getting points, and the over in a parlay. Hell, the Texans may well cover the over all by themselves tonight, but i refuse to take off my green glasses, c'mon jets!! Shock 'em, and shock 'em early!!
I'm tired of all the shit talking that the Jets can't beat a good team! The Jets need to prove all the doubters wrong tonight. The young guys need to step up. All eyes on us. You know that there are tons of people watching this game for the sole purpose of watching the Jets lose. Lets shut em up! J E T S JETS JETS JETS!!!
