For this game it was brutal to watch. Sanchez has not looked good for over a year now and you have to start looking in that direction. Maybe Eva Longoria is blowing him too much. His decision making is terrible and that brings me to Cavanaugh he should be fired immediately. He has had Sanchez for 4 years now and the last two Mark has regressed or has toned Cavaungh out. Either way either Cavanaugh goes or Sanchez goes to the bench.

I've been saying Cav should be fired for over a year now. If you want to know how not to develop a QB, just ask the Jets.

Schein said after the game that they Jets offered the QB coach job to 3 people, and all of them turned it down. But, I agree, Sanchez needs to be benched.

Cav shouldn't have been brought back.

I always look for an excuse to defend Sanchez but turning the ball over to make it 7-3 at the half you just cant defend the guy.

You could have Bill Walsh as QB coach. It wouldn't make a bit of difference. Sanchez is what he is.

Sanchez was asked about his job security and he sounded like he thought he was Tom Brady the way he shrugged off the question,he sounds like he is to comfortable someone needs to shake things up

This is all Jenny Vrentas' fault. We wouldn't have lost if she stayed with the Jets.

Sanchez could have Calvin Johnson,Andre Johnson, and Jerry Rice and Tony Gonzoloaz at WR and TE and he'd still be throwing air balls and dirt bombs

This is probably a fair assessment.

is it...Tebow time? I'd rather watch Tim Tebow play his a$$ off and lose than Sanchez just be useless

They tried to get rid of him in the offseason but couldn't find a replacement.

    This times a million.

The excuses have to stop (as I have said for 2 years). The guy is trash, and is easily the worst starting QB in the NFL. He needs to be an ex-Jet asap, and needs to be collecting splinters on the bench immediately.

Alex Smith was throwing to Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham and Randy Moss. He had Frank Gore behind him in the backfield.

Who was Sanchez throwing too and who was lining up behind him in the backfield?

The problem with having a game manager as your QB is that there has to be a game to manage and personnel to manage it through. The Jets have not passed that sniff test since 2010.

Is Sanchez an issue? Of course he is. the lack of talent around him is the bigger issue though. If you have a flyball pitcher and bad fielding outfielders? Same thing.

This is absolute ignorance!!! I don't understand how people are ready to throw in the towel and blame EVERYTHING on Sanchez. I'm sorry but football is a TEAM sport! We looked SLOPPY in ALL 3 phases of the game! I can tell people like you NEVER played organized football! Yes, our QB did play a terrible game BUT did you see the WR run their routes??? It's shameful!! As a WR your supposed to take PRIDE in beating the guy in FRONT of you ALL day!! Your taught from DAY 1 to ATTACK the ball! Don't let it come to you! We can't get any separation to SAVE our lives!!!

THANK YOU!!! FINALLY, somebody KNOWS what they're talking about!! Bad job by Mark but WORSE job by Tanny to support him with a quality WR n RB. NOBODY is scared of our offense for that EXACT reason. Look up and down the roster. We have NO REAL threats!
