Schotty's impact still lingers on Sanchez or was it Mark all along?

I swear the constant check down plays, the dinking and dunking felt like it was Schotty out there calling plays.

It really was not Sparano...I like how he is very aggressive, it is just Sanchez cannot throw the ball down the field...I was surprised he even had the arm strength to throw that deep ball that went way over Santonio and the two Miami defenders.

Sanchez had time in the pocket but he either wastes that time without throwing it down the field or throws a quick pass that is either tipped, hits the receivers helmet, or is thrown so fast that it whizzes by players or its drops right into the oppositions hands.

Not many people are open down field... Schillens was on that one play, which was all on Mark, but his receivers can't beat press coverage and Hill is now hurt (who was supposed to be his deep threat).

Oh yeah, and Keller is out.

When Hernandez was out against the Cards, everyone excused the loss yet the still had Gronk.

Sanchez just looks at times like he's playing scared.

I think the lack of separation has been forcing Sanchez to the checkdowns. Pitt handed out that defensive blueprint.

While Santonio is an overrater WR, I don't care if he catches another ball all year as long as he keeps drawing PI penalties.

Definitely not happy with the way Sanchez performed, but it seemed like our Wr's couldn't get separation. Holmes still pisses me off, that guy is always looking for a flag.

I agree. The great players stay poised under pressure. I personally think he showed great effort under duress, but when he had the time he missed some big plays just like last week when he threw too high to Holmes in the endzone.

I've seen a significant increase in the amount of intermiadiate - deep passes that Mark has thrown in this offense compared to Schotty's.

the problem with Sanchez is when the play breaks down so does he, he never extends the play very rarely

stop blaming others for Sanchez not being elite... he just isn't.. he is just a mediocre quaterback.. sort of like Chad Henne.. who is now a back up in Jacksonville. Mark my words, Mark will be a backup next season...no pun intended

They need to use more play action; particularly with Powell in the backfield. He's a bigger threat than Greene, and a much better receiver as a check-down target.

Schotty didn't help. But let's face it, Sanchez is an average quarterback. Even if those drops were completions, he would still be at 50% completion percentage.

    Select your reply:
    -The line Sucks
    -The WRs Suck
    -The RBs Suck
    -Sporano Sucks
    -Schotty Sucks

    He's just OK guys.

The difference I see is last year he would get it and check down immediately. This year he is looking down the field before checking down or going through reads. It isn't one and checkdown or immediate checkdown. I think that's a difference.

Sanchez has always had the arm to throw it deep, not sure why you were surprised. We saw it in the Steelers game too.

Sanchez did ok today for a guy who had one professional receiver working with him.

Did people not see Tim Tebow in the slot on several plays? That's kind of the definition of there's not enough talent catching the ball at the moment.

When Sanchez gets Keller back things will be fine. He'll have Holmes and Kerley alongside Hill and Schilens and he'll have Cumberbatch as the 2nd TE. Not an ideal alignment of talent this year but workable.

And Powell had better be the main back and soon. He's much better than Greene.

I'd believe the lack of seperation argument a lot more if Sanchez didn't usually miss or be off target on wide open receivers.

When a QB isn't accurate and doesn't anticpate well then no amount of seperation helps.

did you see the miss to Cumberland( yeah I know he was falling down). Did you see the overthrow to Hill that would have been a TD. Did you see the overthrow to Schillens that would have been a TD? Did you see the throw behind Schillens coming across the middle that would have been a TD? Schotty? Hahahhahah

Just for the sake of conversation, I saw the very opposite of the statement.... Has no Time as the pocket breaks down within a second or so after the snap. As far as arm strength I have seen several deep throws, so that doesn't bother me. What bothers ME is that the receivers are not getting separation, and Sanchez is looked upon as the goat after an incompletion.... just my perspective.
