Aaron Rodgers is a "California pussy' and plays at Lambeau Field....boy he sucks.

As for "Holding the ball" that's kinda what happens when your WR don't get separation and when your playcalling is garbage(Refers to Schotty)

Fitzpatrick throwing so many INTs in the first game made the Jets look better than they are. The Steelers game was a better test for the Jets, but shouldn't be seen as a predictor of what will happen during the season. The Jets are lacking marquee players on offense, but it's Sanchez's job to make stars out of them otherwise he might as well hold an Allen Iverson practice press conference and say, "how the hell I posed to make my teammates better by pracktyse" (great speech, BTW).

Many many good throws by Sanchez were dropped last game.

Does Sanchez suck. No. Is he elite? No. Should Jets fans panic? No. Why? Because Sanchez is who you thought he was. Nothing has changed. Give him some better talent and he could take you deep into the playoffs again.

I think the rookie Hill is a possible breakout receiver.

Then... there's always Tebow if you want to win ugly. Won't get style points, but he'll win games.

Just because Sanchez isn't as good as Aaron Rodgers doesn't make him a pussy. I saw him take a huge hit to the helmet and he stayed in for the rest of the game while is receivers were sucking ass. It wasn't the only hit he took either.

I get the criticisms of Sanchez but I don't understand how anyone could question his toughness.

Hanging in there after a hit like that is commendable.

Don't look now but Sanchez is 5th in the league in total QBR and 11th in passer rating... I believe he's going to have a great year and just for shits and giggles recommend reading this article on schotty and fellow young QBs nyjetscap .com/ Schottenheimer .html

Sanchez might not have enough edge to his personality. Take a look at the great QB's in the league and you'll see that sort of cold edged seriousness to them. Like Peyton Manning... It just seems that if you were to say something stupid to Peyton Manning you might get punched in the mouth for it. Same with Aaron Rogers. Same even with Brady. You don't get that feeling with Sanchez. He's just too nice and too laid back, he doesn't seem like the type to take control of his team like an Army General. The kid might just be too nice and too cooperative for his own damned good.

Strange thing about Eli. Off the field he seems one way, on the field he seems much different.

now. 5 yeas ago tiki was questioning his leadership and everyone was complaining about his demeanor.seems like his balls dropped after tiki left and they weeded out a few guys who wouldn't fall in line.

Improving the team around the QB. What a novel concept.

Sanchez threw one retard pass week one and then played nearly flawless ball. If that didn't excite you as a Jet fan I don't know what will.

Sure, he stunk Sunday, but if we see much more week 1 Sanchez than week 2 Sanchez we'll be in for a hell of a season.

QB Rating Sanchez has 95. good for 11th in the NFL, 4 TD tied for 3rd. AVG 7.5 good for 14th. 1 int tied for second best.

Point is he doesn't need any excuses. They played against a good Pitt D. They are always play good at home.

    No excuses needed.

Falcons go get Tony G, draft Julio, Rodgers for Ryan. Ravens go get Boldin, Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones for Flacco. The Jets didn't seem to have this in mind two offseasons ago ridding Cotch and getting Plax. This year seemed to be a little improvement getting Hill, keeping Kerley/Holmes/Keller. Using Cumberland.

We know Sanchez isn't elite, that's why you surround QB's with weapons until they either become elite or you field a good offense because of those weapons. Flacco isn't elite, Ryan isn't, Eli just became, Cutler isn't, Brady is and they get him weapons, Peyton is and they brought guys in, RGIII is brand new and they went out and bought WRs, etc.
