God, I want to beat those fuckers so bad, especially the way they ended our season again last year. But then look at the stretch ahead: vs. SF vs. HOU vs. Luck @ NE Uh-oh
It is a must win for the Jets. 49ers and Texans are top teams. Jets don't want to go into these games at 1-2 with a loss against the inferior Dolphins. With that being said and even if it hurts: the Jets won't lose against the Dolphins.
yes it's a must win, after miami we play san fran and houston. plus getting two wins in the division is big. btw i think we'll beat houston
Until the Jets grow a set of balls and start playing like they talk, we can't look past nobody, the fins got a win this week so they feel better about themselves, the Jets have to start playing the smash mouth offense I have hearing all summer, they don't stand a chance if they don't
Yep. But the Raiders are really, really bad. Carson sucks. Luckily our strength is our d-line and Mcfadden got shut down. My hope is that Tannehill plays smart, Reggie has a game like Spiller had against you guys and that our corners really step it up. Even then under perfect circumstances it would be a close game.
Its a must win just because the Fins suck. And I think we can beat the 49ers and Texans, we match up VERY well against both of them.
It's a stretch to call it a must-win unless you think the Jets are going to win 12+ games this year. I make it a toss-up at best because we're in Miami and the Fins and Jets are always competitive even when one team is a 4 win team and one is a 12 win team.
Yeah but look who we played. Plus Bush had a career day. You stop Bush Tannahell looks like week 1. While the win was nice today I am a realist. We have no-receivers so to speak. Two mediocre receivers for the short and medium routes (Bess, Hartline) and we have literally no downfield receivers. Only thing we have going on offense are three good RBs. Bush, Thomas and Miller (rookie). That won't be enough. Our defense was decent/good the last two weeks. Last week decent but they were put in awful positions because of an inept offense. This game should be a no-brainer for the Jets despite Sparano and the rivalry.
They want to head into that second MIA game (after NE) at 4-3 and 5-2. Even 3-4. After the first 8 games they NEED to be .500 or better or the playoff shots are real slim. Wouldn't call it a must win, but it does seem easier than 3/4 next games to reach the 4/5 win mark
Based on what? Especially the 49ers. How does our O match up with them exactly when GB struggled against them? Seriously.
I'm real worried about Sparano knowing how to best attack the weak spots of our team. He will know specifically what our o-lineman struggle with.
