Thats what the commentators said. They were like they tried to push the ball late first half and ended up turning it over and getting scored on so I think rex took the safe approach. Lets just hope it pays off
They don't trust Sanchez. And to be fair he didn't give them much reason to with his second quarter, but still. You can't win playing not to lose.
Agreed. Why not at least try to get a field goal? Mind boggling to me, always is when teams do that kind of thing when they have time to work with.
Rex sucks. The fat man has done this shit since he got here. Watch us lose by 3 now when that could of been a deciding drive.
Thats bullshit. That was 2 years ago and this is now. You throw some quick passes and pick up 35-40 yards.
NO EXCUSE FOR THAT ---2 timeouts and we run out the clock ? We cant try and get a FG there ? Just bad------I dont care if we have the ball first in the second half that was just bad. We did that in the preseason and we complained "why are they not practicing it ". The games are real now Sanchez is playing well we should have tried to get in FG range ps I am shocked the Steelers did not burn time outs to get the ball back the had 2 left
I ask you, do the Patriot do the same thing with a minute left and two timeouts? Do the Packers do that? How about the Saints, do they do that? What the hell did the Jets just do there!
Typical "defensive mindset" shit that I hate about Rex. He's done it before and I'm sure he'll do it again.
The head shot is irrelevant. He could have easily had 2 more completions if his receivers were on the same page/helped him out.
He did get quite a blow to the head but what the hell... this isn't preseason. How many chances are you going to have to score? I just hope we don't lose by 3. I love Rex for many things but he's ALWAYS done this and I think it shows he's a defensive coach who wouldn't trust his offense to do anything. And it really really sucks...
