So the only way the Jets are shown in the local NY market is the unsold tickets are not in the hands of the NYJ's even if 12,000 seats don't get purchased? They give them to charities for free and brokers at a discount and that's how we stay on TV? That's BS, the Jets should not be allowed to do that and should be blacked out so they and the NFL look like jack asses that they are. Home opener and tons of empty seats=bummer

Call me crazy but I don't think there will be a lot of empty seats as long as the weather is nice. You will see tickets drop in price on stubhub this week to half the regular price. Will mean a lot of Bills fans too. I see the Yankees with tons of cheap tickets but most games when the weather is nice they fill the place up by putting them on stubhub for pennies on the dollar.

The stadium will be PACKED on Sunday. It's Opening Day. It's always packed on opening day. 75,000 Jet fans, 5-10,000 Bills/Tebow fans.

The Dolphins used this tactic for there home games so they could be on TV for there home games. How do U think NYJ fans are able to secure tix to there home games in Miami? Also, Jax tarped a whole bunch of seats so they to could TV there home games. MHO until we win a SB less & less NYJ fans will put out there money to see a garbage team play

except in Miami the local TV station carrying the games would buy remianing tickets to avoid blackouts and in jax even w/ the tarp they were still blacked out.

No, No, NO again you are speaking without knowing the facts. Remember I lived in S. Florida for some years & the Dolphins would give the unsold tix to Publix (Pathmark of Fl) NOT the local radio or TV station. Publix would then distribute them to the so called "needy" of S. Florida. You should KNOW the facts B4 posting BS

I am very happy looking at the ticket prices on stubhub that lower level and mezz are selling for below face value. I may pick up a set and go to game now on sunday. Since it is going to rain I will be looking under cover or even club.

I would keep an eye on this pre-week 1 battle between the two titans of 'I'm not wrong'. The fact that one of them may be wrong is huge news on this site and will be talked about for years.

I know im a very happy man sold preseason and full season for 135 and 150...seeing that I can buy lowers for 100 and mezz makes me a very happy man I may do this every year.

and if it rains I buy lowers high row.....36 and up and stay dry.......I can see how everyone now does this! I have 1400 to rebuy tickets for free since that is the profit I made on the year for 8 tickets.
