Can someone please tell me why the Rangers are holding onto nine defensemen instead of trading two of them for another scoring forward?
This lockout situation sucks. There's nothing that will happen until Sept. 15, then you know there's going to be a lockout and if it doesn't get settled within a week from then we're probably out until Christmas. So right now I can't buy or sell any tickets, can't plan for anything, can't look forward to anything, no choice but to ignore hockey completely right now and stick to the Yankees & Jets
if there's no hockey, i will cut my own throat as I cannot watch the NBA anymore. haven't in 10 years. could be a long winter.
Nine defensemen?? Staal-Girardi McDonagh-Stralman? Del Zotto-???? I count five defensemen. Bickel is (should not be) not a starting defenseman in the NHL. Sauer is still out indefinitely with concussion issues. McIlrath is not making the team. I'm curious, who are these nine defenseman you speak of, and which of them hold any real value that you're willing to give up?
Like it or not Matt, Bickel will be in the lineup vs the tougher teams especially with Pruster gone...
that unfortunately looks like the new yankee stadium now with all those empty lower seats. that's not johnny though matt, he's not holding 3 beers during that quick snooze.
