i really only got 5 wins. But, i'll give 'em an extra game, 'caus the leadership training is a step in the right direction. At least, they're acknowledging a significant problem. i vote 6-10.

 

1. Sun, Sep 9 vs Buffalo Bills ---W. Bills have a hard time stopping the run. We beat them like we always do.
2. Sun, Sep 16 @ Pittsburgh Steelers ---L. Steelers are banged up and we could win this, but their defense is too good.
3. Sun, Sep 23 @ Miami Dolphins ---W. Miami will be bad this year. Although I think Tannehill will eventually be good, almost all rookies that have faced Rex's defense (during his Jets tenure) have failed miserably.
4. Sun, Sep 30 vs San Francisco 49ers ---L. We will go 1-1 between SF and Houston. Don't ignore the fact that SF is a west coast team coming to the east coast.
5. Mon, Oct 8 vs Houston Texans ---W. I think Houston's overhyped. We match up well to stop their offense because we can stop the run and Revis can shut down Johnson.
6. Sun, Oct 14 vs Indianapolis Colts ---W. Luck is good, but he's still a rookie.
7. Sun, Oct 21 @ New England Patriots ---L. Patriots are too good.

12-4 with a commitment to Tebow. The Jets will not find success with a half-assed approach- either Sanchez is good enough to take the team to the SB; or, you completely, whole-heartedly commit to Tebow. You can't have it both ways.

I know my fellow Jets fans want to distance themselves from Tebow, but the kid played against all odds last year (including, against a 1-4 start; against a coaching staff which refused to coach or gameplan to the strenghts of Tebow; against a world of critics who've never, ever got it right about Tim). In spite of what many perceive to be limited abilities..... no, even with limited abilities, Tebow led a less-than-mediocre team (with horribly inneffective and limited coaching) to a friggin' playoff win.

12-4 if the Jets follow-through with the committment to Tebow, to the Jets, and to Jets fans.

 

14-2. 2 losses to Patriots, which gives them homefield at 14-2.

Jets at Patriots AFC Championship, Jets who lost first 2 matchups of year, beat the Patriots in the title game.

4. Sun, Sep 30 vs San Francisco 49ers --- W. I think that this is going to be a 9-6 game. Edge goes to the home crowd.

5. Mon, Oct 8 vs Houston Texans --- W. Revis on Andre Johnson. Our front 7 keying in on Foster/Tate. Everyone is taking the Texans seriously because they finally won the AFC South... Alabama would with the AFC South last year.

I dont get the 12-4, 11-5 predictions. Our O is horrific at the moment and I cant see anyway how itll be better than last year.

Theres gonna be more than a few games we lose 10-6, 14-10 etc. The D will be good as usual but I have 0 faith in the offense. You cant spin it anyway you want but not scoring a TD is the preseason does mean something.

Cause were Jets fans we'll say it doesnt mean shit....but if was Buffalo or Miami thats all we'd talk about.
