What did you expect? lol They probably will have it on stubhub for $30 a game as it gets closer to the season. In the old stadium there used to be a single next to us with different people sitting there each week. Finally I got an email offering me the seat to add to the 2 I had. It was perfect timing because my sister wanted to start going with my dad and I but otherwise there was usually a random sitting there most games. There was another single behind it so sometimes it was people piggyback sometimes it was 1 person who didn't know anyone around us.

I suppose there are loners who will buy a single ticket. And like you say, if the Jets make it cheap enough, some computer geek introvert who lives by himself in some flat in Manhatten will elect to buy the ticket and go by himself.

Truly, I can't ever remember someone around us doing that, but I suppose it happens.

314 just happened to luck out, so now he has to deal with this real live "Taxi Driver" who sits in the middle of his party going, "You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me?" LOL

There will also be Stan who's from Flushing, 45 years old, bald, overweight and hasn't shaved in 5 days, is missing a few teeth and hasn't been to a game yet in the new place but saw a single ticket on stubhub 8th row 40 yard line for $27.99 a ticket and had to go.

If it's the Stan I know, he likes to eat. Maybe he can eventually invite himself to 314's tailgates.

As long as Stan does not smell like ass and loves red meat, he is welcome to my tailgate. Its going to be interesting to see who shows up each week, I would presume its the type of person that calls WFAN overnight and frets over who makes the hall of fame and all star game and never got laid. Sounds like most of the posters on this site.:breakdance:

You might get lucky and find the guy is only a one-shot wonder. I would think most of the year you will have no one in that seat. Who the hell buys ONE ticket?

I travel for work and often find myself in a city where there is a football or baseball game to attend. I often buy one ticket for a game....although I usually try for an aisle seat. It is better than sitting in the hotel room watching the game alone.

So to answer your question, it could be someone like me.

i dont know how you guys who travel alone do it week after week. what a painful experience that was for me the few times i had to do it for a week here or there.

thats actually a great idea, i often found myself at the closest eatery getting blasted hoping a decent looking girl would walk in.

I have been traveling for 20+ years for work. I have had the opportunity to visit places most people never get to go...all on someone else's dime. I got to see the Jets play at Soldier Field one evening....I was off by one week when the Jets played in Tokyo a few years back....that would have been cool.

Once you get used to traveling like this, you look for things that interest you. For me, it is sports. I go to see games and talk with the locals about their team. I have also had the chance to see a WLAF Game in Germany and a cricket match in Australia......

Doing all these things makes the travel a little better. And besides, after seeing all these places I have a pretty good idea of how our stadium compares to all these other places.

That's what we thought, especially in the middle of the row. We are hoping he will only get rid of tics to the Pats, 49ers and Houston and get stuck with the other games.

Yeah, otherwise that'll be a ton of fun.... sitting on both sides of a 400-lb PATS or DOLPHINS degenerate who refuses to move to either side and particularly detests attending your red meat feeding frenzies as a bribe.

Now you're stuck with this dude in the middle of your party.

Holy Christ, I think I'm about to be sick.

Sat in my new seats yesterday. Right on the 20 yard line upper Pepsi sideline. Great view from their. Love watching plays develop.didnt understand why the Plexiglass is higher than the bars that goes across the 5th row. Had to duck my head slightly to avoid the distortion of my view. But bathroom Stella's and exit are all directly behind me. Couldn't ask for a better location. 2 seats next to us in row 6 went empty as the 4 in row 5. Of course until people just say there bc they where left open.

But $10.50 for chicken fingers and $5 water I said straight to the cashiers face are you fuckin kidding me??? Luckily I had those 50% coupons and made her ring each up seperately.

I am too, because I think Tebow's our only hope now and 314 will come to love watching his ass run into the EZ for TDs.

Californication GQ model El Guapo needs to go back to Commiefornia and play backup for the San Fernando Gold Rushers.
