Heavy on rhetoric, light on substance, with just a hint of overt irascible intent. You know drama. Edit: and I counted eight sentences, but I guess accuracy is not high on the list of priorities for a Tebow groupie.
I have always maintained that I reserve the right to exaggerate or minimize in order to make myself look better or other people look bad. This is no different. Doesn't change the fact that it was not a speech.
Much like your arguments in this subforum concerning a certain recent Jets acquisition. Also plodding and predictable, like said player's passing attempts.
Wuuuut? Brah, My arguments are sound. I use exaggeration/minimization/sarcasm for emphasis, not to change context. If I say Tebow has done "X" a million times before, obviously I don't really mean he did it a million times before. But, if you want to take those types of stylistic exaggerations as though I really mean to state that as fact, be my guest. We should also find all the people who've said, they were "so hungry they could eat a horse" and find out if those liars actually ate an entire horse.
Not a fullback. If he doesn't make it as a starting QB, he'll be a weird hybrid back of fullback and QB.
Time's counting down to the regular season. Last chance to reconsider whether this remains your prediction about how Tebow will be used by the Jets this year.
The point is, he takes over the starting job. If Peyton Manning doesn't go to the Broncos, he'd be starting. It took a HOFer to unseat him in Denver. If Sanchez keeps his job, he will have earned it for sure.
That where I think your Tebow fans are wrong. I think Denver goes out and gets somebody else if they don't get Manning. If Denver was really sold on Tebow they would had keep him to learn behind Manning.
Plus it not like teams where beating down Denver door to get Tebow. That I recall it was 3 teams who tryed to get him jets, jax,Green Bay and not one of them wanted him to compete for the starting job.
I think the Pats(they love them some gators) and one other unnamed team were also involved...but your point is valid
Agree with the bolded. But the Jets were also pursuing Manning. Do you think they would've kept Sanchez as a backup?
