Also, didn't hear about any talk about Denver "backing into the playoffs" on a 3 game losing streak last year but in 09 when the Jets won 2 in a row to make the playoffs and in 10 when they lose in Week 16 (not the last game of the season) and made it, everyone in media said they "backed in". Different atmosphere. Different coverage. Yep, and they lost the last 3 games of the regular season too.

Am I the only one that thinks Revis comes off as an asshole with these comments? "You've got to do what's best for the team, and I don't know if we've been wise in that department," Revis said Wednesday. Maybe if we didn't have a CB holding out every 2 years demanding franchise QB money we'd have more money to spend on offense.

i can see why you feel that way. i just think he shouldn't have said anything. he doesn't play QB or offense for that matter. i hope revis doesn't become a diva.
