The Broncos went 8-8 last year, just like we did. They had the benefit of being in a much weaker division to make the playoffs while we did not.
Revis talks, but he should man up like Cromartie and play some O. They don't throw to his side much, he would be rested. BUT, we all know he would ask for even more money and when he doesn't get it that "hammy" pops up. We don't need another WR like Plexiglass. We should never have let Cotchery go.
This. Hypothetically Tebow ends up starting and then we get THRASHED by NE in the playoffs like what happened last year. Oh man, he would get ripped to shreds. It is completely different than Denver. Also, didn't hear about any talk about Denver "backing into the playoffs" on a 3 game losing streak last year but in 09 when the Jets won 2 in a row to make the playoffs and in 10 when they lose in Week 16 (not the last game of the season) and made it, everyone in media said they "backed in". Different atmosphere. Different coverage. Yep, and they lost the last 3 games of the regular season too.
i always respect revis because he tells you how it is. also i respect him because hes the best CB in the league
Man remember when the Jets receiving trio was a healthy Braylon, motivated Holmes and solid vet Cotchery? Sad face..
Am I the only one that thinks Revis comes off as an asshole with these comments? "You've got to do what's best for the team, and I don't know if we've been wise in that department," Revis said Wednesday. Maybe if we didn't have a CB holding out every 2 years demanding franchise QB money we'd have more money to spend on offense.
I don't know. He seems a lot like Rex, just saying what's on his mind without thinking about it too hard.
i can see why you feel that way. i just think he shouldn't have said anything. he doesn't play QB or offense for that matter. i hope revis doesn't become a diva.
Revis, as good as he is needs to shut his trap, comments like that dont help anyone, especially not his team mates,
