The only reason the Jets would be covering a hamstring issue with Holmes is that if he had one a couple of months ago and then re-tweaked it in camp the odds are pretty good he's going to be hobbled for a lot of the season. If Holmes is hobbled for a lot of the season the Jets are going to score about 16 points a game if they are lucky.
Plax was in jail for 2 years. If you followed Plaxs career he wants the ball. He was a game changer. Helly yes I want lazy Plax back to replace injured and never gonna play for us Schillens. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-N_EEt29L8
He WAS a game changer. He's now old and slow (and according to you, lazy). He wouldn't be replacing Schillens because Schillens isn't going to make the roster.
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/giants/plaxico_shoots_off_4mNyY6gCSU5FKHRvBOWsMM read the first 4 paragraphs, Plax didn't have faith in Sanchez, I guarantee he was a cancer in the locker room, a bad influence on Holmes
I agree completely with the 2nd part. We are hurting at WR right now. Plax is not the answer though. Not sure who said a guy that is a career long, walking injury waiting to happen, was going to make the Jets forget BE.
Somewhere there's a sweet spot between the Mangini Jets not telling anyone what everyone already knows and the Rex Jets confirming for everyone what everyone already fears. I wish I knew what it was.
The sweet spot is the Parcells Jets not telling anybody anything unless it comes from the man himself, and having the man feed the beast now and then. That's a much better plan than not telling anybody anything under any circumstances, like Belichik and Mangini, and blabbermouthing like Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton the way Rex's Jets do.
Why was Schillens supposed to make us forget Braylon. Wouldn't that have been Plaxico's job. You're the only one who can't stop thinking about him.
Many on this board or people related to the Jets? Because either way I can't imagine anyone thinking Schillens was going to contribute the same way Braylon did when he was a Jet. If anything Hill was the one to replace Braylon.
Many who? On this board? Even the shiniest of Sunshiners seemingly topped their expectations by saying if the guy stayed healthy he might be good due to his speed and size.
Schillens is and was an injury prone player. Time to cut him and audition other WRs before its too late.
http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/14573/revis-questions-front-office Asked about Revis' comment Thursday morning in a previously scheduled interview with WFAN radio, Tannenbaum said he hadn't read the remark. "Anything like that we'd handle privately," Tannenbaum said.
On paper and for those paying a PSL fee and ticket admission weekly. Kerley gave us a glimmer of hope last season. Hill and White decent college WRs.
Revis is right. WRs have been a revolving door since Sanchez was drafted. That's not conducive to developing a young QB.
Why doesn't Revis give up some of his money so we can sign these offensive weapons? He can't demand a large portion of our cap, then bitch about not bringing in other players.
