All but this guy who was supposed to replace BE and PB. Jets WR Chaz Schilens is dealing with a high-ankle sprain, and is expected to be inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers. It's unclear when Schilens suffered the injury, but it was likely New York's first exhibition game, where he was held without a catch. The Jets have precious little receiver depth, but missing Sunday's dress rehearsal should just about ice the injury-prone Schilens' chances of cracking the 53-man roster.
Chaz Schilens was never going to be our #2 WR. at the end of the day he'd fall 4th on the depth chart with Turner falling in at 5th...in fact he was probably battling turner for 4th The Jets can upgrade his spot on 9/1.
Chaz is most likely not gonna make the roster but he was at best #4 WR (after Holmes, Hill, Kerley). On the other hand, Jordan White has been looking pretty good and seems like he can handle #4 or #5 receiver which is really good for a 7th round rookie.

Marcus Allen played at 37 years old. Tiki has had plenty of rest. Ok it ain't gonna happen I know. Just dreaming that the Jets could have a real good offense this season. I don't see that happening either.

Something I noticed: Far too many sacks on Tebow. I think what the CS told him is that he should not take off in practices OR preseason games. When pressure gets to him, play is blown dead and counted as a sack. If this happens during regular season, I think Tebow escapes the rush half the time and gains positive yardage. Right now, defenders only need to get close to Tebow to call the play dead. And we all know that even if the defenders get their hands on him, its not a guaranteed sack.

Holmes is a playmaking receiver that wants the ball and is playing for an offense that does not move the ball well at all. It's like you look for reasons to hate Holmes.
