No you're too blind to see that Revis and Cro vs Pat Turner or Stephen Hill is a mismatch regardless of who's at QB. What secondary was Tebow dealing with? Trufant, Strickland?, uh, a couple rookies, um, Ray Mickens? Sanchez has a ways to go but he's ahead of Tebow.

Its clear who the better runner is, remains to be seen who the better qb is~only head to head meeting didn't fair well for Sanchize.

as starting QBs in this league Sanchez has been MUCH better. The thing Tebow is celebrated for the most are the comebacks which sanchez has done as well or better. he hasn't needed his D to hold a team to 10 pts to finally put a drive together late

If Tebow hadn't been putting up 0 first downs for the first 58 minutes of games he wouldn't have needed so many miraculous comebacks from 6-3 deficits.

Oh you mean that ONE game where both Quarterbacks played like dog shit and the Denver Broncos happened to be the ones with the slightly higher amount of points, albeit the same amount of offensive inepititude.

Ding Ding Ding.....yeah both of them threw the ball like crap....

...and it's how both of them normally throw the ball...that's what I've been getting at.

They are pretty much the same as far as passing is concerned...Only difference is Mark is more accurate on the short passes and Tebow is a little better at not throwing INT's.

However, one of the QB's possesses an extra dimension to his game that the other one does not.

The 2 are nothing alike throwing the football. One throws it like an NFL QB, the other does not. mark sanchez is a good QB in this league, he had a bad ending to 2011. it happens but he's been much more successful than tebow.

They are alike as far as results...

For example, Bernie Kosar didn't throw the ball like Boomer Esiason, but the results were pretty much the same.

I'm sorry i must have missed tebow winning 4 road playoff games and helping his team reach 2 AFC title games. I saw Mark outplay Tom Brady in the 2010 div rd against a better pats team than the one that humiliated Tebow and Denver in the same round a year later.

The 2 QBs aren't close which is why there isn't a competition for the job.

Just for comparison to illustrate how they are pretty much on par with eachother when it comes to throwing....

    Completion%
    Sanchez: 55.3%
    Tebow: 47.3%

    YPA
    Sanchez: 6.51
    Tebow: 6.75

    ATT/TD Ratio
    Sanchez: 25/1
    Tebow: 20/1

    ATT/INT Ratio
    Sanchez: 28/1
    Tebow: 39/1

    TD/INT Ratio
    Sanchez: 1.1/1
    Tebow: 1.9/1

    Career QBR
    Sanchez: 73.2
    Tebow: 75.1

So like I said, Sanchez has the edge in Comp% and Tebow has the edge in protecting the ball...The rest is pretty much identical.

*stats based on career regular season games

The difference is that that game is one of Sanchez's absolute worst NFL games played, whereby its in the upper echelon of Tebow's games.

By better, you mean a Pats team that didn't make the SB vs. a Pats team that did?...lol..Entitled to your opinion, I suppose.

Except its NOT because Sanchez has way more attempts. Increase Tebows attempts and his INT ratio would be much worse than Sanchez. - and his completion % would be worse than it already is.

He is fine as a gimmick QB off the bench, or when his team can run the ball 40+ times a game and he only has to throw 10-15 times, but you cannot survive playing that way.

Whenever he's been forced to loosen the reins and THROW the ball to keep his team in the game he has failed. Sanchez has on multiple occasions shown that he can keep his team in the game if they need to rely on his arm. His problem is inconsistency, but at least he's shown flashes.

They didn't make the Super Bowl because we beat them in the playoffs, that's how that works. They were 14-3 overall, lost to us twice of the three.

Created a Sanchez vs Tebow thread in the Tebow forum to keep it out of the main one...I'll answer over there if you are interested in a rebuttal.

I remember quite distinctly being insulted for suggesting that some people think Tebow is better than Sanchez. This Fakespike troll is taking the cake. I appreciate you proving my point for me. Sanchez is the better QB by far. There is no competition. All the coaches know it, the only people claiming otherwise are these insane Tebots who are Sanchez deniers and think our #2 D is even remotely close to our #1 D. Dude, you can't even stay loyal to a team and probably don't even care about football. Stop worshiping a man.
