So these don't include 7 on 7's then. I wonder what the full on totals are. Not that it really matters.

Not sure what you are trying to say here...

It doesn't mirror his last two seasons at all, and he won't have to face the New York Jets defense in the regular season every week. Also its freakin' practice the D is always better in training camp.

It's practice so they're doing a lot of different situational things and the defense knows the offense very well and knows what the offense is focusing on. Taking fantasy stats from practice is stupid, but that's all our beat reporters can figure out how to do and apparently a lot of fans eat it up.

Interesing numbers (Well, as interesting as practice stats can be, anyway)...

Actually looks like they performed pretty similarly.

Comparable completion % (Sanchez is a little higher, but neither are anything to write home about...52% vs 49%)

Same TD Production (Although the edge goes to Tebow for doing it in significantly less snaps)

Similar turnover rate (Sanchez had more, but again, Tebow had less snaps)

I don't really see how Sanchez was far and away better as has been widely reported based on these numbers....

Sanchez also plays against the #1 defense all the time. Whereas Tebow plays against the #2s.

I'm a Sanchez supporter all the way, but in all fairness Tebow plays with the number 2 offense. So to say sAnchez vs 1st def is almost a moot point.

But I think our 2nd team offense is better than our 2nd team defense lol

Furthermore, the WR corps that he's been throwing to ain't the WR corps that he'll be throwing to during the season.

Considering our injuries at WR Sanchez is pretty much working with our 2nd team receivers and I don't know who Tebow is working with.

The same argument can be made that Tebow plays with the #2 offense while Sanchez gets to play with the #1....So it's kind of a wash, isn't it?

True that Tebow has 2nd team offense. But Tebow should be dictating the 2nd teamers if he wants a shot at being decent with the first teamers. Its like playing at college level. If you can't get it done in college level, chances are you can't get it done in NFL. If you can't get it done with the 2nd string vs 2nd string, you can't get it done with the 1st string vs 1st string.

No, not even close. Look at the Jets D and O.

    That's kind of flawed thinking...

Especially from the QB position, you have to rely on everyone else to do their job in order for you to be able do yours effectively.

Of course this applies to Sanchez as well, not just Tebow.

Well that would work in Tebow's favor as far as an argument, wouldn't it?

The Defense is much better than the Offense, so the dropoff in depth of talent from the #1 D to the #2 D is probably far less than the dropoff in depth of talent from the #1 O to the #2 O.

maybe next year we can play practice fantasy football? These passing stats from practice are a joke.

lmao the 1st team offense is not that much better than the 2nd team offense.

The 1st team defense is a LOT better than the 2nd team defense, though. So Tebow has the advantage in 11-11s I think.

we live in an age where we are provided w/ too much info, info most of us don't understand how to process. Stats in games never tell us the whole story but practice stats are now supposed to tell us what to think? Just amazing.

    Good point.

I still think Tebow has the advantage playing against the 2nd defense though since neither the 1st offense nor 2nd offense has very many good WRs.
