I'm sure the you know who's of the media will blow up this melee into a huge black eye for the team but so long as there's no dumb injuries during these kind of things, I'm all for it during camp. It's exactly what should happen. Guys playing with chips on their shoulders, playing with something to prove. It's hot, it's tiring. This is a good thing.

Landry lit up Powell in 11-on-11s. #nyj

Another fumbled snap with schlauderaff under center

    Brian Costello ‏@BrianCoz
Powell just paid back Landry with a huge block on a blitz pickup #nyj

    Brian Costello ‏@BrianCoz
Cumberland and Revis now get into it. Feisty practice #nyj

    Jenny Vrentas ‏@JennyVrentas
Josh Mauga just drilled McKnight. No brawl, if you were wondering. #nyj

Too bad Cimini didn't have his head down. That would've made my day.

Here's how you know the offense is having a bad day. Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow have been sacked a combined 8 times today. #nyj

    Brian Costello ‏@BrianCoz
Joe McKnight is hurt. Not getting up after last run. Walking off with trainers. Could be a shoulder #nyj

    Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN
Aaron Maybin is in full-fledged beast mode today. Shoots up the middle for sack of Sanchez. Then, he laughs at the ease of it. #nyj

    Jenny Vrentas ‏@JennyVrentas
McKnight tossing ball around with Mellody now. #nyj

    Jets RapidReports ‏@CBSSportsNFLNYJ
McKnight coming back on the field. Unclear what the issue was.

    Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN
Final stats: Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez were sacked a combined 9 times (6 on Tebow) today. Sanchez: 5 for 11. Tebow: 3 for 8 #nyj

Sounds like they not only haven't found an upgrade for Hunter, but not having a backup center is still going to be a huge issue.

For the defense sure...hopefully not the amount the offense is giving up. Definitely seems like an area that needs addressing, but that's not really a surprise.

This should have been addressed and it was not, I just hope its not to late to find someone else at RT.. I thought Howard would be a nice fill but it seems this is the weekest link. AGAIN should have been addressed in the DRAFT,, 100% blame on Tanny.
    Go Jets

Who would you have picked to play RT out of the draft?

I didn't ask for a list of people I said who specifically. I wanted DeCastro with the first pick. I liked him more than Kalil actually. Besides Reiff and Kalil who were drafted before we ever picked who would you specifically have gone for. DeCastro wasn't a RT so what RT would you have picked in the first that wouldn't have been a terrible reach. Also I thought addressing Hill in the 2nd was a great pick so I wouldn't have gone there for RT either.

Yeah, considering Mangold and Moore are both out, this is no real surprise here.
