Seems official that it is not a break. X-ray was negative.

To be honest I think its great. I think we have some young raw WR talent in the wings and now they will get extra playing time until Santonio gets healed.

Easily the worst post I've ever read on this website. Congrats.

I hope he gets well soon. This could be the chance that Kerley or Turner gets to show what they can do if Holmes is out for a long time.

They SHOULD make some sort of trade but they probably won't...just gotta hope he gets better quick and the other WRs step up.

    This sucks.

Way to be over-the-top. I'm obviously criticizing him as a POS lockerroom cancer who will drop passes and take plays off. Putting Tone in IR improves the team IMO, but that's only because I assume he's going to act just like he did last year. And it's perfectly reasonable to feel that, given the way he's acted since the end of last season, that he hasn't learned a damn thing. Worst post ever.

    My bad?

Keeps on suffering an injury? I'm just hoping for a specific severity (which may be the same thing given your ambiguous wording). I think to wish harm upon someone who you dislike in an athletic realm (like me saying I hope Gronk is out of the year just because I hate the Pats) is worse IMO because it's incidental. In this case, I'm denigrating a POS for acting like a POS. This is #me we're talking about, and for the record, the only player I can root against on this roster from a health-standpoint only because I think it's in the Jets' best interest to lose him from the system ASAP. I wouldn't even wish an injury upon Tebow other than in jest.

Your post was completely classless. You're wishing injury on a Jets player. I think holmes is a douchebag but your post was a giant piece of shit.

Chaz/Hills outside, with Kerley in the slot will be plenty enough actually.

Like LongTimeJetsFan pointed out earlier, having big, fast and tall (+ physical & can block) WRs work much better for ground-and-pound philosophy. As long as Chaz/Hills stay healthy and improve, I wouldn't have too much problem with this.

If my post was completely classless then I'm sorry, but I've seen much much worse about other players on other teams on this website. It's just considered more offensive/"classless" because it's aimed at the detriment of a Jets player. What I said is considered anti-Jets. Rape jokes are classless. There's a big, big difference.

As for "wishing injury", that's the wrong way to put it. I'm hoping for the worst. I wouldn't wish injury upon a health Holmes, so it's not as though I'm praying for him to be hurt.

I understand I've pissed you off but you don't have to be dismissive by treating two entirely different points as one cohesive BS elaboration unless you don't wanna talk about it, which I completely respect.

Saying that Big Ben tore his rotator cuff because he was raping somebody is classless. If what I said equates to that then I'm sorry that your priorities aren't straight. It's entirely possible for both to be classless but given the backlash in this thread vs the backlash there... There seems to be a disconnect. Don't fault me for being straightforward.

Having said that, I'm sorry that I pissed you off I didn't mean to offend any fans; I just truly believe that Holmes would do everything he could to jeopardize this team's playoff chances to pad his stats (for example). So, given my opinion on Holmes, I firmly believe that he's more a detriment to this team's success than anything else.

You don't see the difference between a joke (maybe tasteless, maybe just for shock value) and your sincere "worst wishes" upon a player of a team you root for? Are you for real right now?

I'm not pissed, I'm disappointed that you're serious.

Knowing Cro is the one who hit holmes kind of is fucking hilarious. Cro lays the wood on Chump holmes and he gets nicked up. Cro tackles his teamates better then game day oppenents lol!!!!

I saw the hit on TV, it wasn't anything special and didn't look like anything that would cause an injury. Relatively speaking though, it was a MONSTER hit for Cro. heh.

If we're discussing which one is classless then it doesn't come down to intent or seriousness. So yes I'm for real. Unless you mean to imply that I'm alone in my opinion, which is the alternate definition of classless (without a society).
