anyone know how long a broken rib will sideline a WR?

If its a while, we've got to hope Kerley & Schillens step it up

That's what the beat writers are saying. Doctors will review tomorrow I guess.

This is a big blow on the WR corps if true. Most seasoned WR now Kerley?

I broke two while playing lacrosse a few years back. Took about 6 weeks of no activity to totally heal, but I broke them straight through. If it's a hairline, maybe 2-4 weeks, really depends on severity.

Fear not, probably a couple weeks. Be nice if it was longer for me, but broken ribs should be fine by week 1.

    :rofl2: :breakdance:

Right because you wanted to sign Braylon because of depth. You wanted to sign Braylon for some unknown love for him and so he could start.

I wanted BE so he could be our #1.

Nothing to laugh about if you are a real NYJETS fan!

    Season.

    IR him.

(And I'd be curious to know how Stonedtonio Holmes broke a rib....)

IR him now, be done with it, Fix your short passing game (where you're only missing Holmes YAC ability) and Moveon.org.

Fucking around WAITING for him to get healthy, will kill the team.

This is exactly why I said this team needed another veteran WR. One injury to this WR group and its a major problem. Add that Chaz Schillens is the only veteran. Panic mode.

Exactly, Braylon woudln't have helped depth! He is an unknown also right now! Do you realize that? He got cut, came off a terrible year, and a knee (or some part of the leg) injury. He was as much of an unknown as any other Jets WR besides Tone.

This is a laughing matter because you act like you wanted Braylon for depth. You wanted Braylon because you were 100% certain he was going to be Braylon of 2010-2011 which 31/32 teams disagreed on. He was as big of a ? as Hill, Schill, Kerley, etc

Well most people on here are saying 2-4 weeks. So I mean they should be fine.

There shouldn't be a panic mode. You are the only panicking.

Panicking? Isnt this a discussion board? Or did I not get the memo?

Exactly and what made you believe he could be a #1 after last year? He is as big a ? as any other WR and having him right now would not make the WR core more stable.

What does the discussion board have to do with panicking? I just think you are overreacting completely to an injury we aren't sure the severity of.
And then of course your love of Braylon is very tiring and repeated
