Hey easy now, the Bills are okay. They won me a good chunk of change when they went to those SB's. I always bet against them and they didn't disappoint. Fucking losers. :buffaloblows:
First off, Fitzgerald is a WR with Arizona. Where did I say anything about injuries to Sanchez or Fitzpatrick in 2011? The poster made the stupid claim that the Jets would only lose 2 or 3 games all season, and I pointed out that they faced 5 tough teams to start the season -- at least 3 of those teams have good enough Ds to make Sanchez look as sucky as he did at the end of 2011, and the Bills could very well be a fourth. If Sanchez doesn't play well enough to beat Pitt, SF, and Texans, then sneaking past the Bills 13-7 and Miami 10-7 or something isn't going to save him from being replaced by Tebow.
Bah I always do that. I have a friend Ryan Fitzgerald which is why I usually call him just Fitz or beard haha. No way Jets go 14-2 or 13-3 though. My prediction is 10-6 give or take a game. Their schedule finished a lot easier then it starts. Jets need to split with the Pats this year and take care of business at home against the tough teams early in the season. That is what will decide playoffs for them.
4-1 after 5 14-2 after 16 17-2 after 19 Only if Mark is the QB for all 19 Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
SOJ fan here. 17-2? No faith it in 19-0?! I see why Bills fans are optimistic, I don't see why they and the media think the Jets are going to blow up and go 4-12, 5-11. I would say that is as likely as them going 15-1 or 14-2. The 7-9 to 10-6 range is where I think they will end up and I think that is through regular glasses, not green colored ones.
As a Bills fan, I definitely don't see the Jets being 4-12 or 5-11. I think the Dolphins will be around that record this season with all of their changes however. For some reason, in recent days I've seen people picking the Dolphins as a sleeper team (which I don't understand), but I digress. I think the Bills and Jets will be neck and neck all season in the standings and Week 17 could determine which team snags a Wild Cat spot. I just think the Patriots aren't slowing down at all offensively and they win the division. Brady has shown no signs of decline, Welker and Gronkowski will continue to produce and Brandon Lloyd is the best 2 they've had in a while. Throw in Hernandez, and a young RB corps (Very high on Vereen personally) and they'll be dangerous. I still think their defense will be bad. Hightower is one of those athletes that really don't have a definite spot and I feel he'll be a letdown. Chandler Jones will be a solid addition to the team once he puts more muscle and weight on his frame.
No game is an easy win. Every game will be a tough game, and some opponents will be super tough. I'm not being pessimistic, I don't want to jinx anything. The Jets gotta take one step at a time to win the game this season.
its impossible to answer that question...teams you think will be great end up sucking and teams you think will suck end up being great.
Where do Bills fans get off thinking they are going to be neck and neck with the Jets. The NFL is a what have you done for me lately, and well the Jets have gone 9-7, 9-7, 11-5, 8-8. That averages to 9.5 wins. Bills have won 7,6,4 and 6 wins. That averages to 6.5 wins. Neck and neck? Prove it.
It is what have you done for me lately, which is why I look at the Jets 8-8 mark and not the years prior. I don't think it's crazy to think the Bills can close a 2 win gap considering the off-season they've had and the hope that they can be a lot healthier this season than they were last.
The amount of wins for each team in the last few seasons is not relevant to this year. That argument is foolish. The Bills have upgraded their defense not only by signing and drafting talents like Mario Williams, Mark Anderson, and Stephon Gilmore, but their roster is better fit for a 4-3. As for the offense, the Jets are going to be a ground and pound team. The Bills inability to stop the rush has haunted them, but this year we should be much improved. As for the offense, the Bills certainly have enough talent there to keep up with the Jets as well. Last, you never know what will happen so why can't Bills fans be optimistic and feel they can compete with the Jets?
If the BILLS catch fire this year, I will be in a state of shock. I mean, the Bills we're talking about. But I will give credit to where credit's due if that miracle happens.
No one cares that Bills fans are optomistic. What is annoying is the flooding of Bills trolls to a Jets board proclaiming that despite their long history of recent failures that now they are a much better team then the Jets and they will be in the playoffs while we are in the cellar. So if you want to talk like that go back to your bills forum. If you're here to talk football then feel free to stay. Not saying this to call you out but it is the reason for all the anti Bills talk around here now. We have 0 dolphins and maybe 1 Pats trolls but like 10+ Bills trolls.
I think people are more annoyed that Bills fans are real optimistic that the Jets will be bad also. We are on a Jets board so its nice to get an opposing fan's perspective, but a lot of them have not been very constructive. There is the Bills fans acting like nothing the Jets did in the offseason made a difference and they are the same team. I mean its one thing to be optimistic about another team, its another thing to turn that optimism into ripping another a team on some baseless reasons.
As a Bills fan, if everything works out I them winning 9 or 10 games at best. As for the Jets, I don't think it's being a troll to say that I expect the Jets to be around 9-10 wins as well. The Jets are not a bad football team and for if any Bills fans have come on and said the Jets are only going to win 4-5 games, then this clearly is trolling. It's definitely no guarantee that the Bills do better than the Jets, but I as am optimistic Bills fan certainly think it is possible and not out of the realm of possibility.
