Have been asked a number of times why I do not like Tebow

I believe you specifically questioned whether Tebow could make all the NFL throws. I'm still waiting for you to specify which throw it is that you think he can't make.

You are conflating a couple of things here. There's a huge difference between "being able to make all the NFL throws", and, "being able to make those throws consistently".

I readily admit that Tebow is extremely inconsistent. I think it has to do with the tinkering with his mechanics. That is something that can improve over time.

Umm, the ability to run between the tackles ? To identify the seams/creases and follow blockers ?

Cam and Vick are insanely athletic, but neither of them have the build to run the same way Tebow does. They both rely more on speed and elusiveness (though of the two, Cam is more physical).

I agree with your point, but I do think Cam has got the same thing Tebow does. When he was playing at Auburn, the first half of the season he just bombed the line of scrimmage on every key play. He can flat out bring it between the tackles. I think Tebow's conditioning is superior, such that he can "bring it" relentlessly like the Terminator or something. But Cam's got that between the tackles ability.

Kind of remember Cam running off tackle most the time, basically, a zone stretch type thing, though I could be wrong about that.

Being able to make the throws while under pressure in the pocket. Show me one highlight where Tebow is throwing the deep out? Heck any out pattern.

He has the arm strength to throw it but not the accuracy or the footwork. Throwing accurately is all about footwork and nothing to do with arm strength. Throwing the deep out requires both accuracy and arm strength. Tebow does not have a traditional passer arm strength of say a Cutler or Favre he has to step into his throws to get power. (Either does Sanchez)

Running between the tackles is not more in his bag as he is deficient in other areas like say playing under center.

How long to think a running QB will last running between the Tackles? Oh that is rt Tebow does not take big hits but we proved that wrong to did we not?

From 2010 against the Raiders. 5:38 mark, deep out to Brandon Lloyd

First game against the Chargers in 2011. 2:31 mark, Tebow throws a deep out to Brandon Lloyd.

    Got anything else ??

Again, he can make all the "NFL throws", his problem is that he can't do it with consistency yet.

Running between the tackles is "more in his bag". As I said, that you have "more in your bag" doesn't mean that you can do everything better than everyone else. It means that you have some talents that others don't have.

As to the question of Tebow taking big hits, where was that proven ? His only real injuries in his entire college and NFL careers came when he was standing in the pocket. He got a concussion in a game against Kentucky, while in the pocket, and he got injured against the Pats, again, getting crushed in the pocket.

hahaha.. "running between the tackles" is a FB or RB skill, not a QB skill. Tebow plays QB, right?

Being a threat to run between the tackles changes what defenses do as a part of their schemes and coverages.

Yeah. Being able to throw accurately from the pocket does that too. Which of those 2 sounds like a QB skill to you?

Don't get me wrong, I definitely think that Tebow needs to improve on his passing, and develop much more consistency with it.

That said, I think guys like Tebow and Cam, are going to give teams fits based on their ability to run the ball.

Pitt game planned to stop the run and Tebow made them pay for it. If and when Tebow does get more consistent with his passing, and becomes a better passer, how are teams going to defend against him ?

And yes, I fully well recognize that those are some big "IF/WHEN's" :)

Hmmm, the really interesting thing here is what you didn't say or address. You basically put forth the notion that Tebow couldnt' throw a deep out, so I showed you to examples of him throwing deep outs.

Yet you completely failed to address that and instead, want to question my football knowledge ?

    That's hilarious :)

Do you think Cam and Tebow are the first QBs that could run? Cam is the first to be able to run and throw like he does but this is not new. Cam will run less and less as he gets more comfortable in the pocket.

This is not college and unless Tebow can go form 46% to 60% which is almost impossible he will not stay in the league as a QB. Go back through the history of Football.

Cam and Tebow are the first QBs of their size that can really run, and at a time where teams will incorporate that weapon into their arsenals.

Prior to these two, "running QBs" were guys who could beat you by scrambling, often for big yardage. IIRC, I think Vick was really the first QB who's running skills was actually used as part of the offense. Meaning, that he had a fair percentage of designed and called running plays.

Common misconception. Tebow is not a "running QB". He is a great runner and utilizes his ability when necessary, but he did not build his legacy in college on being a runner. Look at his passing stats in college, he was deadly accurate and a prolific passer in addition to his running prowess. The way Denver incorrectly utilized him was as a running QB in a Tom Osborne University of Nebraska style option offense that he did not run in Urban Meyer's system at University of Florida.

Cval you're making a fool of yourself. If you don't see the problem multidimensional qbs pose on defenses , then you obviously don't know much about football.

Because he had several things going in his favor.

    1. The Offense was compeltely tailored to his skill set.
    2. He had the MOST nfl players ever in A 4 YEAR Period on his team.
    3. He faced an NFL corner or safety probably 1 or 2 times a year.
    4. He was more athletic than most of the guys he was playing against.

Now what does he have going against him?

    1. Offenses NOT tailored to his skill set.
    2. He faces 4-5 NFL S/C every down.
    3. He isn't the most athletic guy on the field anymore.

Which means he had better find some other skill sets quickly or he will be out of the league.

Can you back this up with a source? Phaytal has posted it multiple times, and I'd like to know the basis of it and read what some of the other candidates are, and compare them.

Hate to break it to you, but all successful offenses are tailored to the QB. Is Brady running the option? Manning? Brees? Rodgers? A coach would be a fool to run an offense that doesn't suit the QB. Denver ran the wrong offense last year, but because Tebow is versatile it was able to work somewhat.
