At least we didn't lose in the Super Bowl Seriously, though, you're right. Both the Bills and the Jets were pretty terrible last year. However, the Jets handily beat the Bills twice. The Bills may have had a "better" off-season on paper, but come week 1 I see things going the Jets' way. It will probably be a crazy game like last year's week 1 Cowboys game, but it will be a win nonetheless. You're commentary is fine PatsFan... the Bills trolls need to go, though. Come back week 1. PS. The same trolls predicted Bills beating the Jets for the last 8 games in a row. The Jets won 7 of those games.
I didn't join this message board to be called a troll. My 12 posts IMHO have been anything but troll-like. If having an opposing view is trolling, every FUNCTIONAL message board is chocked full of trolls.
Nope just stating a fact that although teh Jets had all these seemingly huge obstacles they won more games the team talking smack
I totally agree with you, all teams a "are paper tigers" during the off-season. That's why the real games begin in September.
I can't believe we have to wait 2 more months to be having these awful conversations. September can't come soon enough.
That's cuz your defense was better ... and Stevie Johnson dropped a sure TD late in the second game. Then the teams would have been tied at 7-9, so the mighty Jets dodged a bullet there.
And if Jim Leonhard didn't miss a tackle for safety in the Broncos game we are 9-7. Stevie dropping a pass is just the Bills not getting it done.
From the Jets' point of view, that dropped pass was an unforced error. You can't count on that kind of luck, and the Jets should not have let it get down to that close a situation.
I don't like to consider any teams as easy because you just never know with these teams. I'm weary of the Colts than most because I think Luck will be an amazing Qb, so I don't take that game easily at all. Even the Jaguars, I expect Gabbert to be improved this year (he possibly can't be any worse than last year) and if I remember correctly, we got lucky in that game a couple of times where their defensive players dropped easy interceptions.
True but its still Stevie Johnson's problem who has had an issue with big dropped passes before. Jim leonhard had the guy dead to rights but just didn't get it done. Gotta make the plays even the easy ones.
We crushed the Jaguars. There was no luck in that game. Even if Sanchez threw 3 more interceptions we would have won the way our defense owned their offense. I think it was our best defensive game of the year if I remember correctly and we held their QBs to something like 80 yards.
Come on now, obviously everything the Bills did will work and Fitz is healed 100% so is Jackson and everyone is going to play up to their best ability. Everyone on the Jets sucks and is going to play the worst possible (the worst like last year going 8-8) and nobody is going to improve, the new OC isn't going to do anything, and everyone they signed or drafted is a bust. Some Jets fans have this optimism, but luckily they are drowned out by the realists and darksiders. Here all the Bills fans have that optimism for some reason. No team catches every single break like they are expecting
To the Bills fan that got offended by my Troll comment: Your opinions are fine and your facts are accurate. I respect that. The reason you are trolls is because you hijacked this thread based on one offhand comment. This thread went from being "how many wins will the Jets get" to "why the Bills will beat the Jets." Stay if it makes you happy, but if you don't want to be called a troll, make your own thread for your opinions and don't sabotage other threads. Thank you.
