Jake Steinberg @Steiny31 According to reports, David Harris has a calf injury. We will hear from Rex at 2:45PM. Manish Mehta @TheJetsStream Dustin Keller says Jets were "gameplan specific" last yr. "We know who we are now. We're a power football tm that can (also) throw the ball"
Evan Silva @evansilva Bottom 10 in my PFT Power Ranks: 23) Bengals 24) Bucs 25) Vikings 26) Cardinals 27) Jets 28) Colts 29) Fins 30) Rams 31) Jaguars 32) Browns. haha
Lol what? An 8-8 team is now going to be top 5 worst teams in football. I don't get why everyone thinks we are going to be so bad this year. Where exactly did we get worse. I understand if people think 8-8 again but our schedule is easy and are atleast the same as we were before.
hahahaha even non Jets fan should have to laugh at this. Again, did we go 3-13 last year? Did I miss last season?
lol worse than the Vikings Cardinals Bucs Vikings have AP coming off major surgery, with a pouty #1 reciever, and a qb who needs work. Cardinals are just shit, and Buccs were a disaster last year. And even have us right next to the Colts, the team coming off the worst record in the league
Is this an actual sports writer or just some jerkoff? Either way who gives a fuck what this guy thinks. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
Okay, the Panthers at 10 is a reach, but the Giants anywhere within the top 5 is hardly laughable for obvious reasons.
Giants were 7-7 and ready to fire Coughlin in the middle of last season, and they luckily trotted into the playoffs with several teams needing to lose/win scenarios. Their offensive line was poor already, they lost Diehl (i think?) and didnt replace him. And they ranked #32 in rushing offense. Im not saying theyre a bad team but theyre definitely not top 5. As a matter of fact most early projections have people ranking both the Cowboys and Eagles ahead of the Giants in the NFC east. I definitely do not expect them to be top 5, and think it will be tough for them to land a wild card spot. Probably a 9-7 team
They won the Super Bowl! They're top 5. Nothing else matters. They are the reigning champions and lost practically nothing in the offseason.
This is the power rankings for next season, not last season. The Giants lost a hb who had 40% of their carries last year They lost their starting RT, didnt get a solid replacement for him Lost Mario Manningham, one of their good receivers. The Giants are not a top 5 team, theyre not even a safe-bet to make the playoffs. Put it this way If you had to bet money on which 5 teams would have the 5 best records in the nfl next season. Would you have the Giants on that list ? Im not even sure id bet on them to have a top 10 record to be honest Last year they had the 12th best regular season record. So no I dont see anyway that they are remotely close to being a top 5 team. Dont get me wrong if they make the playoffs theyre dangerous, but def not a top 5 team
New York Jets @nyjets #EA G Terrence Campbell, LB Demario Davis, S LaRon Landry and WR Jordan White were placed on active PUP.
First ive heard of Davis being hurt, of all those guys hes the one we can least afford to lose. Landry at least is a seasoned vet, but were really counting on Davis to add some speed to our Lbers
Dennis Waszak Jr. @DWAZ73 Sanchez on Cortland: "We're back to where, I think, there's a little magic in this place." 2 trips up here, 2 AFC title games. #Jets Cortland is the 4th on the worldwide trend list. Jets football is back!
Dennis Waszak Jr. @DWAZ73 Tannenbaum says fans should anticipate Labor Day weekend to be "a mini-draft for us." So, #Jets roster far from finalized. I posted this video in another thread. Good footage from practice White over Revis http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150999653491231
