    Landry is still recovering from his injuries. The Jets knew that he may miss the OTAs when they signed him.

    That may be true, but, you don't need your Achilles to sit in on meetings which he has reportedly been skipping. Again not mandatory but very necessary.

    If he's in the process of rehabbing his injuries, i'm pretty sure flying in to Newark for a few non-mandatory meetings wouldn't be high on his priority list.

    I agree. He should be there. It's not mandatory, but he should be getting to know his coaches, teammates and playbook. "You get, what you put in."

    We want to be champions, we have to put in that kind of commitment.

    Yeah, I'm not too concerned about Landry coming into camp in shape.

    On a sidenote, was that article written by Florio? Because it sure seems like it (Laron Landry is pissed at the Jets for signing Bell! Unless he's not!!)

    Yeah Im not too concerned about that with him... I would prefer him to be there being that he’s new to the system, that should be everyone’s major concern.

    If you are NOT going to be paid AND not required to report for duty, you would:

    A) Show up anyway to support the other idiots who showed up.

    B) Stay home, learn all you need to know about the Bills and Miami playing Madden 2007 while drinking a case of PBR, rub one out, shower, shave, pull $10,000 from the nearest ATM, meet the boys on the strip, fuck Brooklyn Decker, Tweet pictures of your night to your teammates at OTA's, go home, sleep it off.
