I'm looking at these - 2:30 selection...it's this vs 340 row 6 (20 bucks less). Currently in 312, row 10 (mirror of 340). Never sat on shady side before.

Partial success. I was able to move 2 of my seats nearer to the 50 still in the FR of the UD. So there are now 2 FR seats available in 308

Ended up with 340, row 6, seats 15-16. Had 312, row 10, seats 5-6. I figure the parking will be easier on the visitors side since we used to park in Lot B or D and walk around the stadium since there is no parking on our side. Row 2 in 342 was very tempting (I really hate the UD height so row 2 would have been a nice upgrade) but the $20 more per ticket and distance from center of field made it a tough decision.

Well, last I looked someone has them in their cart. Is it you?

We were in sun for the first part for the day games last year. Regarding the "shady" side, the reason I prefer it is to be nearer the parking lots.

I was hoping to slide back to row 3, and move over a section but it didn't happen. I could have also moved directly across to 310 row 1, but am worried about having to slouch to look through the bars. I'd agree that rows 3 and 4 are best, though 2's not bad either otherwise I'd move to another corner. I have a bar that slashes diagonally to my left, but it's not terrible. No one else I go with complains. I'm the one seeking perfection.

Champ, how many seats do you have, four? Will your renters have to fight it out as to who got moved?

Never put 342 in the cart, there were four seats in 340, I took two and a minute later the other two were claimed. I'm tall so row 2 in 342 probably would have worked for me but may have been tough for my wife. I think she wanted to stay in 312 due to the sun but four rows lower is an improvement (I went down from row 13 to row 10 last year and now to row 6 - still too high).

My wife's 5'4" and never complained about the bars. Seems like you did very well. Congrats. I saw those seats open and wondered about moving back to save a few bucks.

The 342 seats went just after you took yours.

I really wanted to go with 342 and move to upper prime but I had my wife on the phone and she thought moving away two sections to go down four rows (and I realize the distance is more than four ordinary rows) for another $400 per year probably didn't make sense (especially since I just got laid off)...what I really want is the old stadium sec 309 row 6 back.

Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm in row 7 and there are a few others on here right around us. Good to hear more diehards coming to 340...

So I'm bored on some conference calls and decide to start counting how many "green" available seats there are in the UD. Come up with an estimate of about 5426. According to wiki the UD has 27,897 total seats. So if I'm correct there is almost 20% of the UD not sold. Seems to me like we UD'ers are in the drivers seat for at least the next few years depending on if the price structure changes. Next year we should start a revolt and refuse to pay for the pre-season tix...
