    I don't get it either.

Wesley Walker did more than Cherbet ever did and he only had one good eye.

I was a huge Wesley Walker fan as a kid so don't get me wrong, but it wasn't Chrebet's stats that endeared people to him, it was the fact that he was an undrafted, undersized walk-on who grew up in New Jersey, played at the college where the Jets trained, and became a very successful and particularly clutch NFL receiver, not to mention that he played his entire 10 year career as a Jet. There's nothing people love more than seeing the underdog succeed, especially when he's a local kid playing for the home team. That's why he's always been such a fan favorite.

Ranger fan in peace, no offense to Curtisss, it's still senile Joseph Willie Namath...

I luv you for that bahahahaha,

-I wear Namath's Jersey all the time, I don't disagree.
I saw Curtis play though and I can relate to him more (so that's why he gets my vote).

Same here. Seemed like a no brainer so I didn't even read the OP until after I voted.

That's an easy one. I saw Joe Namath in my lifetime and he was also easily "the most successful" because he won the only Super Bowl the Jets ever won.

Most popular Jets player of all time to me, is Broadway Joe. My favorite Jet of all time is a tie between C-Mart and Wayne.
