You should be holding onto the 8 and trying to buy more at face. If owning 8 is a good thing, owning 16 is even better. Think of all the money you can make on these things selling the seats to brokers who will pay you over face. We need to think big. Hell, 16's not enough. I say we try to get our hands on about 200. I want in on this.
Funny thing here is you are joking and I was dead serious. When people posted full season on stubhub for 1000 in llez I was ready to buy and flip to the broker and make 1100 on 4 tickets in the flip and no even have to shell out psl money. I did have to pay a stubhub fee but would make more out of it. I only later found out that the 1000 was not including preseason games so it wasnt the full season. You laugh but why do you think there are so many companies in the ticket broker business? Tax writes offs too!! Very easy business to be in if you have good tickets. They don't buy upper deck except for playoffs or Superbowl. And if they did they would buy it from the jets not you guys because its SAME PRICE!! having a psl you can determine the price with the rest of the PSL owners!

i don't have a PSL u senial old man.nor will i ever buy 1. i was saying once the people who opted to do the 5 year payment plan, decide its time to dump then i will swoop in.i believe the jets will still be pushing seats and then with the flooded market there will be options. why am i even responding????
Yes I am aware U do not have a PSL. You will not have to wait long to put your logical plan into action since after this season the rats will be jumping ship faster then the Titanic sunk :sad:
I think after 5 years of everyone banking on psl people bailing doesnt work out than what are you going to do?? finally just buy a PSL at whatever the going price is and get stuck with no payment plan or further back seats....?
I am sticking to my plan,,,,no more season tix,,,,no psl,,,,no preseason games ,,,pick and chose what games I want to go to and sit wherever I wish :grin:
cant argue with that thought process cbg. hopefully i will be able to be consistent with my spreadsheet and get some good info on what kind of prices you can expect to pay just buying game by game.
Me I have FR UD sideline seats so I will just remain in them. That is 17A plan & darn good one if you ask since the next 5 years or so will be just more years added to the our SB drought driving more fans away from attending the games. If U think Tbow is the answer well then IMHO you are really to illogical to even debate the subject. Being a tax accountant student U must realize that the last time the NYJs were champions of the FB world was 01/12/69 which is many, many, many years ago & with the upheaval that will be coming at seasons end the future looks quite dim indeed. In my case if Woody implemented a UD PSL then I would be gone faster then you can say good nite. FYI from the people I rent the seats none of them have bitched or moaned about anything to do with the new stadium & they all reupped again for this season. In fact 2 of the renters do not even take a parking pass so they must have developed a system to ingress & egress the building. If I could snatch Mezz FR sideline seats somewhere down the line where I do not have to pay the PSL & the present owner will subsidize 1/2 the cost of the admission tix I may consider doing something like that :sad:

Sometimes I get the feeling that you want the Jets to do bad because you don't go . I guess when you don't have the the time invested like most of us have, not in the past, currently, you can feel this way. Where do you get off saying the future is dim? I have been actually GOING to games for 32 years so I know how bad it can be, and as bad as we were last year we went 8-8, you make it sound like we went 4-12 and fired the coach and GM. Reading your post one would thinkthe Kotite years are here which is ridiculous and makes you sound like a crotchity old man. THis year is a turing point in the Tanny/Rex/ Sanchez Jets so save the future is dim for one more year.
