rangers looked tired, they dominated a game 5 in which they shouldn't have won, and it had some carry over in my eyes. the 2 days rest will help, and they will be ready, i still feel good that this capitals monkey will be off their backs after saturday. book it baby!

Thats the scariest thing. Ovi, Semin, Backstrom...any one of them can win any given game by themselves.

Rangers have no one that can do that. We simply cannot score.

Take nothing away from the Caps or their goaltender but yeah...even Callahan was out of sorts tonite and its really tough to figure how the Rangers were so out of position in their own zone. Nothing made sense when they attacked...nothing. Cant really figure this one out except this team really could use a few other guys that know how to shoot the puck....forget even scoring..just shoot the puck.

the caps aren't scoring in droves like in the past though either, whoever has scored first has won every game. this is a grind extroadinaire. i've never seen so many rangers bleed for godsakes.

There are many reasons that hockey players play and I watch at home. I lost confidence and thought it was done. Really proud of my boys tonight. Great game. The way that both teams play though, it is stupid to feel you won't have a chance. Odds of Game 7 being 1-0, 2-1, or 3-2 is almost 100%.

    We did not:

    Crash the net
    Forecheck
    block shots
    check the Caps
    have energy
    got beat by speed
    have appropriate lines

Lundqvist was great though. Caps could have had a few more goals for sure.

    You sound like a moron.

Stop participating in a hockey discussion if you have not even been following the series or know what Hockey is all about.

Go back to make believing that you actually are a fan of the Florida Panthers :rofl2:

that 2nd goal off of backstroms skate to the stick was nice bounce for the caps. and Holtby continues to play his ass off.

    2 things that bother me

    1) Why is Kreider banished to the hopeless hell that is the Rupp-Fedetenko line?
2)WHY IS JOHN FUCKING MITCHELL ON THE ICE SO DAMN MUCH!!!! He is GARBAGE. He has ZERO redeeming qualities except for the ability to get sticked in the face

You can say the same thing about almost the whole team. When you think about it, when a team scores as few goals as ours does, a lot of guys on the team are gonna have too few points for their own ice time.

Dont even wanna list them all....Hagelin for sure. He gets 1st line ice and gives back 0 goals so far...AA...Fedotenko...Prust( love the guy but once in a blue, I need him to pop one. Just once in a blue)....Rupp ( has "the Rupper" had a goal since the winter calssic???? Im serious, I dont remember another)...Mitchell....certainly Callahan in this series...so the list goes on.

Thats just too many fuckin guys not producing enough.

    Lines should be

    Gaborik-Richards-Stepan
    Kreider-Callahan-Hagelin
    Prust-Boyle-Anisimov
    Rupp-Mitchell-Feds

I love Torts and all, but his line changes are horrendous at times. The Cally-Kreider combo was LETHAL, why tear it up? And I agree, Hagelin should be on line 2 or 3, NOT line 1. Mitchell and Feds are freaking useless

edit: Oh, and get MDZ away from the Powerplay. If he juggles one more goddamn pass at the blueline so help me God...
