Indeed it does, but at least I know I'll be able to watch it via a non-shitty stream (I dont get NBCSN). Plus, this could be my college tendencies, but who doesn't love day drinking?:drunk:
12:30 is fine for me. 12:30 Rangers, in-between periods flip to the Mets, Derby @ 5, have some dinner, boom fight night Cotto vs Mayweather. Sounds like a perfect way to waste a Saturday.
this is 100% NBC's fault, they think hockey is fucking wide world of sports downhill skiing afternoon time filler. Fuck that, nothing worse than a day game for hockey
NICE! I'll be @ work surrounded by DEVILS fans and I'll have the RANGERS on all 12 tv's lmao! Oh yeah, I'll be gettin tanked for this one...
Im picturing all 5'7" of you standing on a step stool trying to a pull up at the gym with a John McEnroe head band on
12:30 Rangers, Derby at 5, jumpin on the train to Prudential for the Chili Peppers show for the night cap. Got a nice little Saturday planned, little home depot, bed bath and beyond, don't know if there'll be enough time...
lol, now that's a Saturday.......alright it's good for some of you slackers ; ) .....shitty for people that are supposed to get shit done on Saturday
Thanks for the pre-sale tip. I cut it close rejecting the first 3 pairs of tickets I was offered, then i was rewarded ROYALLY. Game 1, sec207, Row C, Seats 1+2 ... basically sitting on the red line. I have some game 5 tickets up in the rafters somewhere I grabbed on stubhub when the playoffs started too.
I did a couple different ones. I searched 200s any price on the ones I ended up with. What's the team policy on tickets you bought for games that don't happen? Refund? Credit for next year?
The fact that the Caps/Rangers game is the only game slated for Saturday means NBC is fucking stupid. If they go from the Derby into the game nationwide, they would get an enormous rating. Better than some lame repeat they'll trot out. As in '94, there is a buzz around the Rangers...a triple OT game will kinda do that. Having the game on at 12:30 is a momentum killer in building an audience. Terrible call.
mmmm I disagree. Theyre not as dumb as you think bro. If you put derby 1st, people shut opff TV after race. You use hockey as derby pre game, more people tune in early. The derby is more widely watched than hockey. By a shit ton. You put the "main event" on 2nd, not first. If they brought you your steak at a restaurant 1st, I doubt youd hang around for the salad Theres no worse TV night than Saturday night. So NBC is making the right choice actually
gotcha......thanks. Ive been firin down Springsteen concerts like hot dogs for two months now. Tickets....flights....imbecile. I might be watchin from home the whole time. I may be able to swing the Ole free card with a couple favors. People love me
