jon..jon...jon....no jinxing baby!! Going to be a great game. Cant wait. Cant wait. Then we can comeback here and put down all the white towels to collect the crying about the refs again...is he still bitching?
And there it is, Bruins are eliminated. Rangers will face the Capitals in round 2. And, oh yeah, Rangers need to beat Ottawa tomorrow first
would you ever think the Pens, Bruins, Canucks, Wings, Hawks and Sharks are all out? that's the only thing bothering me about tomorrows ranger game, the trend that is going on has not been good to the higher ranked seeds by far as a whole.
The Caps and Sens have had exactly the same results in every game in their respective series. Not that I'm big on omens or anything, but still.......
No JE, I did not say Neil is scared to fight. I said Neil was leaving his tampon in this series. THIS series. And I am a very nice guy thank you very much. Until I meet know it alls like yourself...who think they know more about a sport than others. I might miss no more than 10 Ranger games a season..and that goes back to 1979. Because you have a different observation about a concussion and a suspension doesn't mean you are more knowledgeable...it means you have a different opinion. My question to you was how a guy gets a concussion without being hit in the head..which Boyle was. Period. I dont care if he hit him with his shoulder...his elbow...his head..or his dick. So just keep bitching about the refs. I will admit you are a pro at that.
Its a trend thats for sure Tom. But thats the NHL...compared to all sports, seeds mean shit. Still, I like the way the series trended last game. If their goalie stands on their head in a game 7...then they deserve it.
For the best of 3... Cats/Sens had a shutout win in Game 5...And Both lost 3-2 in Game 6... For Game 7, I've switched it up. My rat that never got to be thrown for Game 6 has been put away. I've got my good luck 28 year old Winnie the Pooh Bear out tomorrow to be thrown...
No, that wasn't your question. Your question was, and I quote: Boyle got concussed by Neil's shoulder hitting him in the head. As you correctly observe, Boyle is 6'7" and Neil never left his feet. The conclusion is inexorable - Boyle was skating with his head down. As you've been watching since 1979 I have to assume that you realise that, so I must therefore assume that you are of the opinion that all head contact is illegal and the responsibility of the player making the check, which therefore means that all players can at all times avoid being checked by skating with their head down, or worse, draw penalties by putting their head into checks. Which, by the way, means that Staal should be facing the same discipline that you want for Neil, given his check on Spezza's head. (Also not illegal, but it's your rules we're talking about here.) I'm done with this. Onto game 7.
Im done with it JE. He got hit in the head...whether his head was straight up..or laying flat down on the ice...he got hit in the head. Staal and Neils shot...sure..an argument could be made on that..but Neil didnt miss any time or had a concussion..which seems to be a very very big difference in the world of Mr. Shanahan. He even stated that if Alfie? came back earlier..he would look into CH's suspension. Stated that on Boomer and Carton show. Lets move on..we disagree...very nicely in these posts may I add. Good luck in game 7.
a lot of Ranger jersey's, hats etc om the rush hour LIRR train this am. you people going to the game better be loud and supportive throughout..even if they're down!
