    Sorry I think he's closer to be right.

    If they had Orton handing off to Mcgahee 45+ times a game all season they probably would have lead the league in Rushing too. Instead they would split it up Mcgahee 25/Tebow 20 or something.

    I mean just look at the NFL statistics, the teams with the most attempts are the NFL's rushing leaders by far its definetely a correlation - its not like the Broncos averaged 8 yards a carry or anything.

    Yes thats exactly what they plan to do. Good Call.

    Actually you know it might not be a bad idea considering they've averaged over 230 yards rushing a game against your Toronto/Buffalo Bills the last 3 seasons. Maybe they should consider just running it every time since its been so easy running them over.

    Everyone has an 'opinion' but few ever use the actual Stats/Facts to arrive at it.... :breakdance:
    =============

    First Seasons in the NFL:

    Passing - QB John Elway ---- 123 of 259, 47.5% for 1,663 yds, 6.4 ypa, 7 TD's, 14 Ints, PER 54.9

    Passing - QB Troy Aikman --- 155 of 293, 52.9% for 1,749 yds, 6.0 ypa, 9 TD's, 18 Ints, PER 55.7

    Passing - QB Mark Sanchez - 196 of 364, 53.8% for 2,444 yds, 6.7 ypa, 12 TD's, 20 Ints, PER 63.0

    Passing - QB Tim Tebow ----- 167 of 353, 47.3% for 2,383 yds, 6.8 ypa, 17 TD's, 9 Ints, PER 75.1
    (split 'cold off the bench' seasons with 16 starts for a 4-14 team)

    ===========

    This is where a weak inaccurate arm with an inability to read defenses will take you:

    In the SEC against the toughest D-1 College defenses in the Nation:
    (6 consecutive BCS-NC's by 4 different teams)

    SEC All Time Senior Class W/L Record at 48 - 7
    SEC All Time PER Record at 170.8 PER with 88 TD's to 16 Ints.
    (SEC/Tenn ----- P.Manning 147.1 PER with 89 TD's to 33 Ints.)

    First Ever Sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy, and also won the Academic Heisman.
    (tell Luck and RGIII that what they did in college means nothing to the NFL) :rofl2:

    Pesky facts, Insta. But NFL guys will tell you that college stats don't
    matter in the NFL.....................but that is elitist BS. Everyone knows the SEC produces more NFL studs than any other league so the competition and comparison is warranted.

    No, you're not reading into it wrong. I was also shocked to hear this.

    It could be true, mind you (he has a stronger arm and may be a lot more accurate than most give him credit for), but Kerley coming out and announcinging this is not the brightest idea in the NFL.

    I'm sure you've read the spate of articles cobbled together from Sparano's conference call. Just this little nugget will do for today, in your slow journey to sipping on some Tebow Kool-Aid:

    This is not saying much. His throwing mechanics were 10x worse in college, and his throwing motion is still God awful.

    You were out there with Sparano? Did you get any video you can post?

    It's strange you would not be happy that a Jet player would be showing improvement due to hard work and dedication, it's almost as if you are rooting against him.....

    I hope Tebow is practicing his blocking this offseason I think we'll see him on the field a lot as our H-back

    I love an entire you tube video that shows a first year starting QB beating the #1 defense in the NFL in a playoff game , with a team that was the worst in the NFL during the 31 game stretch before he was named starter and calling him the worst and making fun of him.

    Just a beautiful fail.

    I prefer this video and this is a real video, its not special effects or anything

    That would be really cool. I think the more he is on the field at any position the better it is for the Jets.

    Just a little dose today from QB coach Cavanaugh -- in my opinion, he's exactly right. Tebow's main area of improvement must be footwork, not arm motion, and it's primarily a problem on plays that go well (not plays that break down). As yet, Tebow has not done a good job of getting his footwork done on time to fire a quick and decisive pass. He's a "sight thrower" that likes to survey and then move, but in the NFL the window closes before you can throw if you're not assuming a throw. This is what "rhythm" means -- that the entire body acts as if it's going to throw before the final decision is made. It reduces windup time.

    That's some pretty glaring praise. Tebow set all kinds of passing records in the SEC and had a completion percentage of 67% in college. I know that college is not the pros, but that was a high percentage. Also, could Tebow's low completion percentage in Denver have anything to do with the lack of talent on Denver? If you take a hard look at Denver's roster, they don't have much there. Also, every single QB they ever had they ran out of town with the exception of John Elway, could they just be a terrible franchise at trying to replace a living legend and developing QBs? Short list of QBs they ran out of town in Denver: Cutler, Plummer, Griese, Tebow, Quinn, Orton, Beuerlein, Brister. That's just a short list.

    Denver had talent. They just needed a bit of seasoning and will flourish with Manning as signal caller.
