You guys are a little overconfident thinking game 7 is a shoe in. Were in game 7 for a reason, Ottawa has played us tough I wouldnt jump to victory just yet
And the fact that the Senators scored two goals from a player who should have been suspended for the rest of the series didn't "Set a tone"?

no dude. You still dont get it. Whether or not it was called a penalty is irrelevant in determinging whether teh hit was legal. Shanny can review a hit that was not called a penalty....like the Hossa hit! If he reviews theplay and determines teh hit to be legal, then even with a reslting injury, no suspension shall be handed out. If he reviews a hit and determines it to be illegal, thn he will decide upon a suspension. With teh resulting injury certainly coming into play when he decides how much of a suspension to hand out. Get it?
Ottawa hasnt "gooned" anything up. SOme of you guys are acting like this is your first playoff series. Its been a classic playoff series so far. Theres been no gonnery at all. The worst hit in this series so far, was Hagelin's. And that wasnt all that much compared to shit we've seen in the past. There should be next to no goonery Thursday because there never is in a game 7. Too much to be lost by taking a stupid penalty.
Dude, Boyle knew it was coming and decided to draw the penalty instead of fighting back. We've seen that a million times in the NHL. Gimme a break already
Bottom line---referees, goonery, replays, cheap shots...none of it matters. This series is 3-3 because of the play on the ice. Period. It should be 3-3 at this point. And it is. The Rangers have no gripes and Ottawa has no gripes.
I get it dude, I was talking to Johnny E and his insistence that Neil hit on boyle was legit and shouldn't be reviewed becasue it wasn't a penalty, but if you want to keep arguing with me about it that's fine too

Wow, looks pretty legit from there. I was pretty surprised that it wasn't disallowed right from jump. Seemed like the ref was right there behind the net. Given the way the rest of the game went though, I guess shame on me for being surprised.
I don't know... it looks to me like he whiffed on it. It was close but I don't think he got it... Either way, we won. Move on. All I know is MSG is going to be LOUD on Thursday. The boys better feed off it. Let's go.
