^Doesn't matter if Lundqvist is at the top of the crease the corners are impossible to pick. That's his point. Lundqvist's style has him deep in the crease and often it works for him (obviously) but that time it bit him in the ass.
Outcoached, we have to carry the play, stop this fuckin' sitting back, attack them, there defense is vulnerable, we are the better team!
I can't understand the hatred for Mitchell, he's on the fucking 4th line, was +16, is responsible defensively, throws the body, rarely makes a mistake with the puck, is a perfect Torts role player for his system. Kreider doesn't belong on the 4th line anyway, if anything the 4th line should play more, you can't roll 3 lines in the playoffs...
The Rangers manhandled the Flyers all season, who are more physical then these assholes,we are the better team and it will show...
I didn't feel like the Rangers had momentum once after they scored the second goal. I want to say literally for the entire rest of the game Ottawa dictated play.
Also my rule of thumb for officiating, umpiring, reffing is if nothing else be consistant. They were consistant so it's tough to bitch too much but man they called the game so tight. I would have hated playing in that as one of the players. But like Richards was quoted in the paper today they had to expect that was coming after the last 72+ hours of hockey in the NHL.
And one last thing...If the Rangers go to overtime in playoff games, I'm to the point where I'm assuming it a loss. The last time they won an overtime playoff game was on a Michal Roszival slap shot from the point off the post and in to beat Buffalo in the Conference Semi-Finals in '06-'07 in double OT. What a disgrace.
Sad but I had a feeling when we getting those chances in OT, The Sens(itives) would come down and score...
This better light a fire on the Rangers ass. They were out played for almost 2 periods. Rangers are playing like the 8 seed.
I'm presuming you chose to just ignore my post where I clearly stated that you took as many shitty penalties as we did then?
One thing that made the Rangers elite this season, the ability to bounce back and win. It's totally possible for the Rangers to come out and blow Ottawa away these next two games.
