    Dawkins also supports Tebow.

Neither was a bust like DT until Tebow saved his career.

Lmfao. Yeah Tebow nuts keep holding on to what other people not on the jets say. The only reason he started after Orton struggle was to keep the fans coming. He was the 3rd string QB

Really ?> Couldn't have anything to do with the Broncos wanted to find out what they had with the only QB they had under contract past that season ?

Yeah, I know, kind of mean of me to introduce silly little facts that keep ruining the lame assed narrative that you keep spouting.

I don't think so. Tell me the last time when the 3rd string QB got the start after the starter got benched or hurt?

Umm, for starters, it's apparent that you weren't familiar with the Broncos depth chart as they had both Quinn and Tebow listed at #2.

Secondly, I noticed that you said absolutely nothing to refute the point that I made.

Kind of telling there fella :).

We can and have been going back and forth about Tebow but the facts are he not the starter and I believe will never be the starter for the Jets unless Sanchez gets hurt. How long u been a Jets fan?

He wasn't third string and Tebow's stats , top to bottom destroy Quinn's career wise . You really have no idea what your talking about .

Hey at least we have established your a blnd hater who does zero research !

Compare their stats when they had the same amount of passes (for career) at the end of last season (before playoffs)

He might have meant "leopard." As in "leopard with AIDS."

Says the Jets Board Genius anyway.... :rofl2:

Are the Jets coaches and the Owner 'not on the Jets' in your delusions?

    2010
7th Year Vet Orton 3-10 (.231) given every starter advantage.

Raw Rookie Tebow 1-2 (.333) cold off the bench.

2011 Bronco's Preseason's 'FAIR' QB Competition to determine the starter:

5th Year NFL Vet Brady 'da mighty' Quinn 69 PER

8th Year NFL Vet Orton 104 PER

3 start rookie Tebow 108 PER + 5.4 ypc, even after being given the fewest preseason practice reps.

Genius El' Dim-Way and (the Panthers) Fired Fox then determine that:
Orton 'Gives Us The Best Chance To Win' so he's again named the starter over Tebow.

Result: Orton goes 1-4 (.200) and finally gets benched.

    * But the 50,000 Tebots that bought jerseys and then bused all the way to Denver is what caused Tim to finally be named the starter.

3 Start rookie Tebow then goes 7-4 + 1-1 for a 8-5 cold off the bench Playoff season, the Broncos 1st since 2005.

So apparently we have some 'breaking news' here. Fans would rather watch a WINNER than a loser at QB. :eek:hmy:

That winning season also included Tebow setting more Bronco and NFL passing and rushing records in the process.

But ONLY that #1 Jet fan is smart enough to know that Tim will never be a quality NFL 'Starting' QB......

Ooops :eek:hmy: to late, he already is.

The Broncos had the worst record in the NFL the last few years until Tebow.

Tebow only had 1 training camp.

The Broncos were off to a 1-4 start then traded away their best and only good WR and then made Tebow the starter.

With Tebow at QB they won the division and won a playoff game against the #1 DEFENSE in the NFL and the reigning AFC Champs and Tebow set all time playoff QB records.

The man who popularized the Wildcat liked the Jets’ idea of using Tebow. Arkansas State coach Gus Malzahn made the formation popular in 2006, when he was the offensive coordinator at Arkansas.
He faced Tebow when he was at Florida (and lost).

Malzahn said despite what people think of Tebow as a conventional passer, he will force defenses to prepare for him to run or throw.

“I think that’s where people lose sight with him,” he said. “He’s such a dynamic runner in short yardage and in the red zone. ...
I believe utilized the right way that’s a huge weapon. It’s just one other thing defenses will have to prepare for.” (not the only thing)

How many of those 7 games that the Broncos won in the regular season last year with Tebow starting had the opposing team scoring more than 15 points?

Funny thing #1 is that if you limited yourself to positions like the one you just stated, I wouldn't have a problem with you at all.

But no, you have to run around here like a person possessed, taking every shot you can at claiming that Tebow sucks so badly.

The truth of the matter is that when Tebow was drafted, even though he was taken in the first round, he was seen as a 3-4 year project. This past season, he still wasn't ready to step in as a "from the pocket" starter yet he did get thrown in there, and in my opinion, he did pretty well for a young QB with extremely limited starts under his belt.

It's real simple. If a team wants Tebow to be a "conventional" QB, take snaps from under center and pass from the pocket, he still needs some work.

BUT, if you put him in running the Spread Option, he'll do much better right away, though his passing consistency will still need to improve.

How come everyone says its the same Denver Broncos team when clear changes were made from season to season including Orton being injured AND defensive players coming back after the bye week when Tebow started starting. You cannot argue, especially in the NFL, that the team stayed the same completely until Tebow came. There were a lot of moving parts that came together for the Broncos run, with Tebow being one of the main parts
