welcome to the board, i think you need to head over to the jets experience forum on this site and get reading some of the 17atailgater new stadium tour thread. lots of hate for the new stadium over there.

i applaud your passion and pissed offedness at the clusterfuck that you described is.

I hate Patriots in first place, I hate Patriots in second place and I hate Patriots in third place.

I hate them, but for a different reason than you. Obviously is a divisional rival, but I'm spanish, and here in Spain there are few fotball fans (soccer is the most important sport here), and the most of them are patriots fans. If in the states patriots fans are stupid, here even more.

AMEN. Excellent post on the subject.

I understand the Patriots hatred because BB is a fuck and Brady has brought them success but the Dolfags will always be the number 1 rival.

Once Brady trades in his cleats for a pair of shit-brown Uggs and a life of banging Gisele until he's senile (bastard) the Patriots will go back to lower mediocrity where they've been in their history. If BB doesn't retire with him ( i hope he doesnt!) the rivalry will diminish because the Jets and most of the league will beat his ass until he gets fired and the Patriots will be similar to the Dolfags are right now -occasionally relevant. And you are dead on about the bandwagon jumpers there in New England, they don't really effect my hatred anymore.

But the Dolfags will always be there, the Jets real biggest rivals in those gay-ass uniforms. BB is a P.O.S. for the Patsies but still not quite the level of Shula. This last decade has been fruitful for the rivalry as a Jets fan but the hatred has/will always remain.

I at least have some respect for Brady and the REAL Patriots fans even though I hate him, but I've never had any respect what-so-ever for anything associated with the Dolfag organization and its small / pathetic fanbase.

    Rivals in order:

    1. Dolfags
    2. Patriots
    3. Giants
    4. Bills
    5. Raiders

    Giants Patriots Phins Ravens Steelers

Hopefully Philly, Dallas and Washington have strong years and make the Vagiants miss the playoffs.

I actually thought it was a bit douchey but to each ... I'm sure it's not since birth people go I'm going to be into sports. I know a lot of MEN that don't know diddly squat about the NFL or rivalries.

    a) hes been here awhile and contributed in many positive ways. i agree it was dumb but it was funny as well. this is just lame. unless the thread starter is new to the game, this is really common knowledge stuff.

b)you must be pretty new too, considering the fact that you arent bothered by the dolphins. all jet fans HATE the dolphins. like truly despise them. i get that you said youre new to the jets, so ill give you this one, but sip the turquoise haterade if you wanna be a jet fan. loathe them. wish terrible things on their family. show no mercy on friends of yours that are dolphins fans. and i say this as a courtesy, not to be a dick. we welcome new fans. understand tho that we have been flooded here lately with wackjob tebow loving assclowns that dont give two shits about this team, and it has annoyed me a bit. hence my attitude toward some of these things.

and to GRNYT, unless you and the threadstarter are in a committed relationship, let him speak for himself and dont catch feelings for no reason. i asked a question. a legit question with no intention to offend. was simply curious since threads like this are not the norm here.

Giants have obviously crept up everyone's list in the past year. Makes sense as many of you live around Giants fans....... I still think Pats and Fins would trump them though as we play them twice every year and are in direct competition with them. Subject to opinion I guess.

You mean, Brian Schottenheimer? Ah... he is a person, not a team - so does he qualify or not?

I said it last year, (and held my tongue before then) if they announced Rex and Schotty along with player introductions, Schotty would've had to go into witness protection.

Gotta be, in this order, or some approximation

Phins ... I know they're an underdog and we're trained as Jets fans to support the underdog but fuck 'em. Fake spike. Don Shula. Jimmy Johnson. Dan Marino. Jason Taylor. I hate them all.

Pats ... Hate them, and their fucking "I've been a fan since 2001!" fanbase.

Colts ... Division rivals for years, Manning always found a way to kick our asses. Hate them.

Raiders ... Hate them. We played them plenty, and often got the short end of the stick. Still pissed about the "Stop the Game to Reward Tim Brown" game.

Despite the Division rivalry, don't really have it in me to hate the Bills any more.

^Manning is 1-2 vs the NYJ in the playoffs. But I agree with the premise of your post.

Didn't mean to piss off people. Guess I could have gave the thread a better title. Look I'm new to the game and out of all the 32 teams, I chose the Jets, before I realized there history or anything. I like the uniforms, the location, and Rex Ryan so I'm doing this thing.

I know about division rivalries and I know that philly and NY are practicaly at war. I just wanted to know from the fans is there any other teams that deserve a middle finger due to specific games or whatever.

I guess I COULD research online, or I could ask a question on this forum. Next season I wanna be a part of some water cooler talk around the office...

    you didn't piss off anyone

we just were not understanding that you were new to this whole thing, i mean, when you created that introductory thread i thought it was just you presenting yourself to the forum, and not as you presenting yourself as a new jets fan

i am glad to inform a fellow recent jets fan about our rivalries, i simply was not understanding you were new to this

Lots forget about the Colts but it got a bit muddy with the move. Before the move I'm sure Colts fans had to hate the Jets. Not only for the Super Bowl loss but then they got moved to the AFC as punishment for losing.

Until Tom Brady and Belli retire, Pats all the way.
I think people who were hardcore fans Pre-Parcells (Especially the 80s) still cling to the Dolphin Hatred, but those who grew up 1990s+ Usually gravitate towards hating the Pats...
