The interest has to come both ways. Don't assume every Rugby player's dream is to play NFL. Most would never consider it.
Whilst there is plenty of tackling in Rugby, blocking is not a part of the game. It is illegal to block defenders trying to tackle the ball carrier. So this is obviously something he'll need to learn. Apart from his physical size and strength he needs to get the ball in his hands. I'd also expect you'll see that when he does there will be some good hard yards gained after he is first tackled.

I don't understand where all this concern about blocking comes from. The guy has massive legs and a pretty big upper body. He's probably built better than any TE currently on the roster to block.
Well, I stand corrected. I guess you guys put me in my place! This past month has been pretty quiet on the "look at what the Pats fans think" front, but alot of that is because there is nothing much going on with the Pats... and the Jets are making all the "interesting" moves. Sure, I used a bit of hyperbole (every other day), but you guys know very well there have been plenty of threads just like that on here. It doesn't help that the NFL site only goes back to the middle of March. Anyway, I will duly note that Abysmal does not care what anyone says on a Pats message board... check!
