Fri 8/10 or Sat 8/11 at Cincy Sat 8/18 vs. NYG Sun 8/26 vs. Carolina(NBC) Thurs 8/30 at Philly the reg season sched should be announced w/in a few weeks.
It's hardly a big build up to the announcement when you know the Gunts and the Iggles will be 2 of the 4 scheduled.
I will take nothing from that game, as NFL DCs don't like to show nearly as many looks/coverages in preseason as they do in reg season.
why are we playing the giants in the 2 preseason game and not the 3rd? 2 years ago we played them in week 1
I don't even want to play the Giants anymore, not until we beat them again in a reg season game that matters.
Game 3 of Preseason is gonna be Mark Sanchez vs. Newton for 3 quarters then Tebow vs. McCown in the 4th. March 2012 join dates are the worst posters.
I hate when people put too much emphasis on preseason and get all down or get all hyped up based on what happens in preseason. I could see maybe in the 4th game when we're playing mostly starting guys if we get destroyed that could be disappointing. That being said I'd love to win every one of them over losing every one of them but overall it has very little signifance.
yeah Preseason means nothing. The Colts would go 0-4 in preseason year after year then follow up 12-4 in the regular season.
I can understand people getting excited about the regular season schedule coming out,,,,,,and the announcement of preseason games means the real games are not far behind,,,,,,,,all this said,,,,,,are some people REALLY excited about preseason ,,,,,,really,,,,,,,,,,,really,,,,,,,,,ugh
Should be easy games to sell. Gaints always easy to sell and now panthers sunday night when starters play 3 quarters. Great news for season ticket holder!
When the preseason Sched. comes out that means ball is right around the corner. cant wait to see the Reg season Sched.
You're out of your mind. You realize Newton was a redshirt behind Tebow in Florida and had to switch schools because he knew he wouldn't get a chance to start, right? There's definitely some competition there. There's a reason why it's prime time. The media is going to be eating this up. And Rex will oblige and give them what they want. Not to mention it's very likely Tebow's going to get the majority of pre-season playing time trying to get him up to speed with the Jets. The only reason this is prime time is because it's Newton/Tebow.
This is not going to be the Tim Tebow show, rex is in the business of winning games and needs to get his starter ready for the season. Sanchez will play into the 3rd qtr of that game barring injury.
