The Cowboys are no longer a first-class organization though. They're where the Raiders were when Al Davis began to go over the hill.
I was going to say joke also, but that's not true. They're an above average franchise with no prayer of the Super Bowl under current management. Just like the Jets.
The more blood and guts the better! YEEHAW!!! I think they prefer to let their seasonal high-light reels be their publicity films ...
Because Hard Knocks is correlated to success? Well you don't see Rams, Raiders, Jags, Bills, Browns, Redskins, Bucs, Vikings doing it either, so take what you want from that.
I actually would not mind having it around...I like to see the in's and out's of our franchise...HBO probably knows it would be a major hit with Tebow too
and all this time, I thought it was Rex that was the attention whore when the reality is, Woody Johnson is the PT Barnum of our times. He will keep the Jets in the headlines no matter what he has to do. If being on Hard Knocks can somehow get the Jets to simply win their division, I would be for it. I just hope Hard Knocks finds some other dysfunctional team to focus on.
i would love for the jets to be on hard knocks again. i don't get why people wouldn't want this. hard knocks is a great show regardless, but being able to watch your favorite team is an added bonus. oh, i'm sorry. i forgot that attention means our team is terrible. i get it now.
Have we all forgotten that HBO didn't document the Jets as objectively as they could/should have? Making Cro recite his kids' names over and over (and then using the last take) was absurd.
I would love it! Great TV! Of course the dynamics are so different this time around. Last itme the Jets were full of high hopes and gusto coming off a great turnaround season and Rex's boisterous bellowing was great fun. If he acts the same way this summer, you think people will find him as amusing this time around? Of course this is the same organization that wants Timmy T to avoid outside distractions...
Why the colts? I would think Denver, to play up how Manning got shunned from Indy and is going to be Denver's savior. As for Washington, they literally have one enticing piece, RGIII who they technically don't even have yet.
