You know what makes me sick....... the long time Jets fans that keep lying and posting lies on the board trying to stirr up the pot and CREATE the circus they keep complaining about FIRST Tebow did not cost the Jets 2 draft pics - it was a 4th rounder and a 6th was TRADED for a 7th - if you give one and get one that is not costing you anything except positions Second Tebow is not a backup QB - Backup QBs do not see the field unless the starter has gone down, sucks so bad they need to get him out of there, the game is LOST or WON by such a large margin the coaching staff wants to get the backup some experience or they are resting the starters at the end of the season before the playoffs start The coaching staff has already stated that Tebow will have plays he will be running with the first team offense and will be playing during the game no matter what Mark is doing, and may play more if Mark is ineffective
lol, seriously. And this is the fanbase we are supposed to believe was going to be patient with Sanchez this season.
Oh.. That's the problem, I was 100% patient with Sanchez as the QB for the NY Jets.... BUT, I'm convinced though that Sanchez has no shot at succeeding as a Part Time QB who won't be able to fight through rough patches like any other QB because Tebowmania is runnin wild.

When a team has the media and a bunch of people who are bashin this trade and the players on the roster it's easy to create a us against them mentality and go out and perform but it's a little hard to do this when your own fanbase doesnt stand behind you!!! So let's stop rippin these guys and stand up for them! Nobody saw Tebow takin the Broncos to the playoffs last year, and yes it may have been lucky but WHO CARES he won! And who says he cant help out now???? Yes it could fail, but it could also work out great! So before we start jumpin on these guys lets see how the season turns out???
Wait until the depth chart comes out. Unless they put both under the first position, Tebow is a backup. The rules concerning quarterback play has changed so any team can move quarterbacks in and out. It doesn't change anyone's status as to whether they are starter or backup, those positions remain the same.
I dont think it's going to be good but I sure as hell don't feel sick about it. I have no stake in this...neither do you.
Its not that bad. Sanchez isn't a forty throws a game type quarterback. We know that. Think 2010, Sanchez had a decent year. We played our strengths and won.
I really don't think we should start crying just yet we still have the draft to look forward too. I'm not as pessimistic for the up coming season, because after last season our coach will be humbled, I hope we get some stability in our locker room and we start playing like a TEAM. Call me delusional but I've seen the Jets in worse seasons. Stop slitting your wrists before the season start. Sheesh
Regardless of how Tebow is identified on the depth chart, it's hard to deny the fact that his role on the team as the staff has described it is not orthodox or typical by any stretch of the imagination, which was the point LGENF was really trying to make.
Not trying to jump on the bandwagon here. While the word 'sick' doesn't describe how I feel, I do unfortunately have a feeling of disconnect I have NEVER had while being a Jets fan for the last 20+ years. I feel like all of a sudden we're talking about someone else's team. I don't know if it's the sudden lack of direction, the press conferences for a role player, the feelings of uncertainty, etc etc... but it suddenly feels like there is no connection to this team. It really feels like we're talking about some other teams trade. I have no idea why that is, but it's a very real feeling of apathy that has come on. It sucks :-(
