Hey, I was just kidding. Here is my post from yesterday: http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=2449588&postcount=2115 Now, this 4-star a-hole opened his hate-spewing mouth again. Just great. Now the religious right-wing loonies are jumping into this. As if the Jets don't already have enough distractions. Does anybody remember football? This is where a joke becomes reality. Look here: http://www.mediaite.com/online/pat-...nning-injury-for-treating-tim-tebow-shabbily/ Pat Robertson: Broncos Deserve Peyton Manning Injury For Treating Tim Tebow ‘Shabbily’ Is there anyone who hasn’t weighed in on the recent Tim Tebow/Peyton Manning news? Even television evangelist Pat Robertson chimed in with his take. If Peyton Manning happens to get injured, he said, “it would serve them right,” — for treating Tebow (a devout Christian) so “shabbily.” Following Wednesday’s news that Tebow’s been traded to the New York Jets, Robertson said, despite Tebow’s great performance, the Broncos did not treat him well: “I think the Denver Broncos treated him shabbily. He won seven games, he brought them into the playoffs, for heaven sakes. I mean, they were a nothing team. He rallied them together with spectacular last-minute passes and, you know, when they beat Buffalo — I mean, Pittsburgh, excuse me — it was a tremendous victory.” Robertson cited bad karma: “And you just ask yourself, okay, so Peyton Manning was a tremendous MVP quarterback, but he’s been injured. If that injury comes back, Denver will find itself without a quarterback. And in my opinion, it would serve them right.”
That sucks we can't bash religion here on the boards. I totally understand why, but this would've been gold. Oh well. The world of the Lord: Praise be to Revis Christ.
It makes you wonder how many concussions Pat Robertson has suffered in his life. Not the first time he has demonstrated his lack of class.
What a dick. Manning has never done anything even remotely bad. He has had humble respect for everyone even though he is one of the best to ever play. And he deserves to be hurt huh. How does this clown even have one follower?
He said IF he did get hurt, the Broncos would deserve being screwed without a back up QB. It was an actual football opinion. But why see the facts when minds are made up. let's blow it up and make it anti worshippers of wizards in the sky. You guys really need to focus on football if you want to win and stop with the drama....seriously...your starting to sound like Cowboy fans....
Thank you for providing some reality on this subject. I'm sorry that people have to be subjected to the clown who posted this and the idiots who responded.
That's your comeback? I already wrote off the 2012 season. We need to fire Ireland and get rid of the last piece of Parcells trash before we move forward.
Death did you want them to at least make a run at Tebow to have a 3 way competition between Moore and Garrard? setting aside Philbin and the WCO , just something to try and energize the team?
Hell fucking no. Tebow is pure trash. I would like the ball to move through the air at a consistent pace. We need a franchise QB after a decade of crap...And having more crap wouldn't solve it. It wouldn't have energized the team, it would have turned fans down here more off to the team. We have real apathy down here and getting a joke as a QB ain't fixing anything.
yeah I figured. Losers lose, why change the status quo. Tebow has won more playoff games than every Dolphin QB in the last decade combined but why bring him in to push. Garrard is the obvious answer. You gotta laugh at your response, well you gotta laugh at the dolphins, the only franchise managed worse than the cowboys .
The guy is a below average QB. We have average QBs on the roster. I'm content with Moore adapted to the WCO offense...Which requires a QB that can throw the damn ball. But Moore has a ceiling which is why I feel like this season is going to be wasted.
things like this have me convinced tebowmania isn't all about football. i respect your opinion and his accomplishments. for you, it's 100% football. but for a lot.. there is definitely religion involved. tebow is legion, for he is many.
Death, Moore is a very good QB and will be the starter ( i think he is above average) but for you to tell me you want Garrard over the #1 red zone TD threat in the NFL for a 4th is ludicrous. c'mon man. I actually like the dolphins a lot and DVR every game as I grew up in south florida. I saw Marino in the mid eighties and 90s LIVE we will both admit that draft picks for the dolphins are like vapor a 4th is like a 7th or even a 1. a 4th for tebow would have meant something to the team this specific year . I dvr and watch every game every year for the Cowboys, jets, dolphins and denver (and a bunch of charger games) , so I am involved with the phins . you could definitely have used Tebow, setting aside the gator rivalry with UM.
